One of my top courses, playing them all again and not forgetting to comment this time! Played on dry/breezy/heavy/tournament/difficult, am proud to claim a 1 over score! Just a great challenging course that is beautiful, but of course a great deal of the beauty is in your way! Holein1 described it well, all I can say is this one is great. Thanks, TeeOff, wonderful work.

Gorgeous course which combines all the recipes you need to make it delightful to play : tree-lined fairways, narrow and undulated fairways, at times, sharp doglegs, creeks running along or across a lot of holes, blind tee shots, downhill/uphill approach shots and a few slopey and/or elevated greens... What more do you want ? This course has it all and it starts, right off the bat, with the scenic par-4 1st hole, with its downhill slope, a few trees in the middle of the fairway and gorgeous brick houses on the left side. Creeks along the fairways are part of the scenery on the par-5 2nd and par-4 3rd holes, until you reach the very tough and nice par-5 5th hole where you will need to hit two blind shots to reach the green ! After the scenic dogleg to the right par-4 6th hole, with creeks on both side of the fairway, you will face the long par-3 7th hole (260 yards). The back 9 has wider fairways until you reach the two picturesque par-3 12th hole (278 yards !) and the much shorter par-3 13th hole (211 yards). While not overly difficult, the downhill dogleg to the right par-4 14th hole is quite nice with its creek running across the fairway. As for the dogleg to the left par-5 15th hole, don't expect to get an eagle on your second shot, too far from the green... And you will finish your round with the pretty downhill dogleg to the left par-4 18th hole, with a creek splitting the fairway across. After enjoying this beautiful par 70 course, I can't wait to discover the Forest course that TeeOffTowersey did three years later !

Very tight course, especially on very dry/expert. Nicely protected greens making aggressive shots difficult. Well done!
