A beautiful course, with some great-looking and very challenging holes along the coastline or inland (on the back 9), with plenty of undulating and slanted fairways, steep elevations and quite a few tricky greens with some roll off areas around the cups.
This par 72 starts with the nice right dogleg par-4 1st hole, downhill all the way, with a tree-lined and slanted fairway and a big lake on the far right, and continues with the scenic par-3 3rd, with a downhill tee shot over a high cliff, crossing the fairway, two-thirds of the way, landing onto an undulating green.
Two right dogleg holes follow, with trees on the left side of the fairway, next to the cliffs and the ocean on the right on the par-4 4th, and with a tough second shot landing onto a high rocky island on the even prettier par-5 5th hole.
The par-3 6th hole is another beauty, with a downhill tee shot over the cliff and a green, set on top of another high cliff (with a nice panoramic view of the ocean behind), just like the pretty par-5 7th, with a tee shot landing safely onto a wide fairway, set above the cliff, but with a challenging approach over another cliff to reach the green, guarded by a pot bunker in front.
Another scenic hole is the par-4 8th, downhill all the way, with the ocean below on the right, and with a fairway getting narrower as you get close to the green (with pot bunkers on the left), followed by the picturesque par-4 9th, downhill to the small green, with a fairway, split by a small cliff, two-thirds of the way, and with an elongated bunker to the left of the green to watch for.
Coming back, you will face a lot of inland and gorgeous holes, with plenty of elevation changes, such as on the par-4 10th, uphill all the way, with plenty of trees on the right side, or the very pretty right dogleg par-4 11th hole, with an uphill tee shot and a blind and downhill approach to the green, surrounded halfway in front by a big pond and trees all around.
The next two holes are gorgeous : the par-5 12th is a left dogleg with a steeply-uphill tee shot landing... down a steep slope offering a clear view of the small green (next to an elongated lake on the left and a waterfall behind), and the par-3 13th hole is downhill, with a small green, looking more like an island green, surrounded by a wide lake.
The par-4 14th is another standout hole as it is steeply-uphill, with a very narrow tree-lined slanted and undulating fairway, and with three wide bunkers scattered on both sides as you get close to the sloped green, set at the bottom of a hilltop, and is followed by the left dogleg par-4 15th, with a downhill tee shot landing near a small creek, crossing the fairway and flowing past the elevated green, on the left.
The ocean then comes back into play on the last three holes, with the par-3 16th, where you will need to hit a downhill tee shot above a small cliff crossing the fairway, midway, to reach the small green, before moving on to the scenic right dogleg par-5 17th hole, very long (more than 640 yards) and with its fairway hugging the ocean on the left (with trees on the right) and its elevated green, reachable only on your third shot, quite nice with the ocean below.
You will finish with the pretty left dogleg par-4 18th hole, with a narrow fairway, hugging the cliffs on the left side before hitting your approach to the elevated green, before admiring the beautiful clubhouse above.
With its beautiful layout, offering a variety of tough shots along the coast or inland, this Pacific Bluffs Golf Club N°1 course is very enjoyable to watch and play and is a definite keeper even if you will notice a couple of visual bugs (mentioned by PCDurum in the general info), on the 5th hole (black horizon near the ocean) and on the 7th hole (covered bridge on the top left not aligned with the rest of the bridge !).

Usually not a fantasy course friend. But this and your other course #2 have what it takes to make me a friend.
Great job.

..Can it get any better than this..outstanding layout with all holes worthy of mention..
..Hole 11..I could not get my second shot to stick..kept rolling into the hazard..
..But in saying that it was me the golfer & not the design..
..Thanks for sharing..
