What a strange coincidence ! After finishing playing at the CGX Sea Island seaside course with tw08, i just had a feeling of "deja vu" as I stood on the 1st tee, looking at the same ocean with those nice-looking waves (not moving) and those paths along the fairways...
And tw08 did the trick again with water really looking like... water, allowing me to enjoy this course much more the second time around.
As a result, besides the holes mentioned in my previous comments, i would like to add the right dogleg par-4 2nd, with its wide tree-lined fairway and its beautiful approach to the green, with a big and elongated pond and a wide bunker, next to it on the left, but I also would like to make a few corrections on my previous comments :
1. Water runs in front and to the right (and not left) of the elevated green on the par-4 3rd hole.
2. Water is only on the left side of the fairway on the left dogleg par-5 5th but, indeed on both sides near the green (with a very thin elongated bunker too on the left).
3. On the slightly-uphill par-4 11th hole, the river runs across in front of the tee box.
4. As for the 16th hole, it is a par-5 (and not a par-4, with a nice tee shot over plenty of bushes !).
In short, the moral of this "story" is very simple : never drink tequila before playing at this nice CGX El Camaleon Mayakoba course in Mexico !

Well, here is, unfortunately for me, another course where water appears grainy and brown (playing the TW07 version), "spoiling" an otherwise great-looking course...
As usual, plantings are very nice and with the sea in the horizon, a lot of holes are quite pretty, starting with the slightly downhill par-4 1st hole. I also like the approach shot to the green of the par-4 3rd hole, with the villas on the left side and water on the left of the elevated green. The par-3 4th, my favorite hole on the front 9, is simply gorgeous with villas on the left side, the sea in front and bungalows on the right side. As for the par-5 5th hole, it is nice too with water on both sides of the fairway and near the green.
The par-3 10th and par-4 11th holes are prety nice with the river on the side but the final stretch is superb : the par-4 14th, where you need to hit two shots over water, the very scenic par-3 15th, with the palm trees around the green, the par-4 16th, a dogleg to the right with water to the right and large bunkers near the green, and the par-4 17th with water running along the fairway. And the view as your reach the green of the par-4 18th is gorgeous ...
A great course, indeed, not too difficult as fairways are wide and the greens pretty smooth. I just wished I could have enjoyed it even more with "normal" water colors, but my graphic card did not stop me for admiring those very lovely small bridges, another reminder of the talent of the CGX Design team !

Altough there seem to be some problems with the refection in the waters and a strange horizon now and then (see e.g. second photo of the Gallery;I hope no due to my graphic card), it is a kind of masterpiece again.
Plays and looks nice; thank you men....
