A very nice and hilly course with water hazards, high rough and a few deep bunkers to "welcome" your errant shots !
Despite a little lag between holes (the first time it happened to me), this par-72 has some nice holes. If the first three holes are doglegs, I like the dogleg to the left par-5 2nd the most, with its slightly downhill green and a pond on the left side. The par-3 4th and 6th holes have nice views too, but the latter is a little bit tougher with its bunker very close to the flag. The par-4 8th hole looks a lot like the 2nd hole but is not as nice as the dogleg to the right par-5 9th, with its three big ponds, two of them on the right side of the fairway.
On the back 9, I like the scenic view of the par-4 11th hole with its small creek running across the fairway near the downhill green and the beautiful houses around it and the slightly similar par-5 16th hole, a dogleg to the left with a creek, again, near the green.
With its open space and sparse plantings, this course is quite enjoyable without being overly difficult which is a welcome change, sometimes, after playing some much tougher Scottish courses...

rslay version (2009)of centenary would be based on the course at that time
