Well, the solution to get rid of that grainy and yellow water (mentioned in my previous comments) was simply to play this course with TW08 ! As a result, I was able to fully appreciate this CGX design, with its pretty water holes, even though it is not the most difficult course you will ever play with its wide fairways and slight elevation changes. One thing that did not change, though, are my favorite holes : the par-4 8th, with its fairway hugging the lake on the left all the way to the green, the par-3 9th, with its two lakes in front of the tee box, separated by a patch of land and, on the way back, the gorgeous par-3 15th, quite spectacular with its peninsula green and the nice clubhouse, way back (on the right), and the nice left dogleg par-5 18th, with its long second shot over part of the lake toward the green and its bunkers in front. And to top it all, I was able to compare this version with the one done in 2008 by EA, as I just finished playing it... finally ! Even though both courses played very smoothly and looked nice, don't forget that this CGX version is closer now to the reality as the back 9 was switched with the front 9 in 2016 (as mentioned in the general info...).

Looks like a beautiful course but, unfortunately for me (playing with TW07), water is grainy and... yellow ! Otherwise, with its spacious layout, nice plantings, this par-70 is quite pretty with some tough holes like the dogleg to the right par-5 6th, with its sloped fairway and uphill shots (from the tee and toward the green). The par-4 8th hole, with a lake on the left side is nice too, but I prefer the most scenic par-3 9th with its gorgeous view from the tee and near the green. On the back 9, my favorite holes are the par-3 15th, stunning visually with its peninsula green and all-around view and the dogleg to the left par-5 18th with water running across the fairway midway and its tough approach shot to the green. Despite a lot of straightforward and/or slighlty downhill holes, this course is very pretty. Too bad I could not enjoy it fully... I guess I will have to play the 2007 version again (with the original front & back 9) since I can't even play the 2008 stock course released by EA !
P.S. Even though it concerns very few courses, if somebody has a solution to get rid of these bugs, let me know...

@jackn http://www.pgatour.com/news/2016/02/16/press-release--flipping-of-the-nines.html basically, the Tour felt that the existing back 9 wasn't as exciting or made for good finishing drama or leaderboard changes hole 17(now 8) was pretty good, but the par 3 18 (now 9) just didn't cut it as a finishing hole this weekend should be good viewing either way though :)

I remember my one big win at the US PGA Champs at CGX Kiawah Island! A tough old boot in any old storm! Another CGX classic though! C:
