A stunning and breathtaking masterpiece, once again done by rlslay !
With a gorgeous coastline, nice plantings, undulated fairways, high rough and plenty of bunkers, this par 71 is a delight to watch and play.
After starting with three nice holes with undulated fairways, two of them with slightly elevated greens, the par-4 4th hole, slightly curved to the left, is quite picturesque with a nice small stone wall bordering the road on the right side.
The par-5 5th hole is simply gorgeous with the coastline on the left side, the ocean in front and a fairway (next to the road on the right) getting narrower halfway with plenty of bunkers on the left side.
If the par-3 6th hole is "cute" with two small houses next to the road beyond the green on the right side, the right dogleg par-4 7th has a beautiful view with a lighthouse on the right side next to the ocean, and is followed by another right dogleg par-5 8th hole, with a big shot over the cliffs.
The back 9 has some more challenging holes, starting with the right dogleg par-4 10th and its beautiful panoramic view of the cliffs, but the toughest hole is the very short (about 125 yards) par-3 11th, with its tiny green very close to the vertiginous cliffs, where club selection will be crucial if you don't want to pick up your bucket and spade... deep down near the ocean !
The other two par-3 holes are quite scenic too : the 13th has quite a few bunkers around the green close to the cliffs, whereas the 15th hole has a gorgeous overview of the sand and the ocean below the green, just like the par-4 16th hole, with its big tee shot over the cliff and ocean and a few bunkers to "welcome" you in the fairway.
PCDurum can be proud of rlslay who added his personal touch to his course, making it a definite top shelf...
