This par-71 runs very smoothly and is very nicely designed with its tree-lined fairways, great elevation work, strategically-placed bunkers and water hazards on a few holes. Despite the fact that water looks grainy and yellow (!) on my PC (that TW07 bug again...), I enjoyed playing this course with its doglegs on the front 9 and its downhill tee shots on most of the holes. If the sharp dogleg to the left par-4 1st hole is pretty, the dogleg to the right par-5 2nd might be even nicer with its blind downhill tee shot and tough approach shot to the green with water on the left side. The scenery changes on the following par-3 3rd hole with an... uphill tee shot toward the green before heading for another dogleg to the right and downhill tee shot on the par-4 5th hole, this time with a steep downhill green. After the par-5 10th hole and its tough approach shot to the green, with water on the right side, the following holes are easier with no doglegs to worry about, except for the par-4 14th hole (to the right) and par-5 17th (to the left). On the back 9, the most scenic hole is the easy par-3 16th with the river on the left side to look at. The par-4 18th hole is parallel to the 9th but finishes with a tougher approach shot to the green with a small pond on the left side. Overall, this course is nice without being overly difficult and provides a nice break from tougher courses designed by the CGX team...

Take a look at the green on #3. There seems to be a ridge running through it. I don't know if it is just my PC or not. If it is meant to be a ridge that is fine, but it is very sharp and unplayable the way that it is. It may need some smoothing done to it. Otherwise the course is absolutely wonderful.
