What an awesome course from the 1st tee to the 18th green, where you will spend more time admiring the scenery than playing the course itself ! With gorgeous plantings, superb elevation work, this par 72 looks so real that it is... unreal ! Even though this course is quite short, there are plenty of doglegs, (pot) bunkers and a few ponds to keep you on your toes and, with so many up and down holes, you will be deadly tired (along with your caddie !) by the time you complete your round. All holes are superb : the right dogleg par-5 1st, with a lake on the left side and a blind shot to a steep downhill green, the par-3 2nd hole, gorgeous with a small pond on the right side and with beautiful vegetation all around, and the par-4 3rd, slightly to the right and downhill all the way to the green, with bunkers all along the right side of the fairway. I also like the right dogleg par-4 6th hole with a small pond on the left side and an uphill tee shot and blind approach shot to the slightly elevated green. The par-3 8th hole is quite scenic with a small pond in front of the elevated green (with crown-shaped bunkers behind) and a steep hill behind. And the left dogleg par-4 9th hole is simply gorgeous with its tree-lined fairway (and a downhill tee shot and an uphill approach shot). The back 9 is awesome too, starting with the sharp left dogleg par-5 10th hole, superb and quite short, with plenty of trees in the corner and a small green with a pond on the right side and continuing with the par-5 13th, with its uphill tee shot (and a small pond in the middle of the fairway) and an elevated green. On the par-3 14th hole, you will hit a blind tee shot all the way down to the green (and its small pond nearby) while admiring the gorgeous panoramic view. If you still have some energy left, the steep uphill right dogleg par-4 15th hole, with two small ponds on the right side near the green, will test your skills, one more time... As for the last three holes, my favorite is the right dogleg par-5 18th, with plenty of pot bunkers near the green and nice vegetation all around and near the clubhouse. Anytime you download one of Jimbo63's courses, you can't be disappointed : so, pack up your bags and get ready for a "Jumbo" ride on this hilly and spectacular course !

Superb looking design, very realistic, and a tough ol' course. Fairly short for a par 72 but, in keeping with Jimbo's style, some beastly terrain and very tricky greens. I found the front is where you'll want to bag some birds, for the back 9 really tightens the screws - I was more than happy with par on several holes (those that I could get) and a couple of the par 5's are devilish in their detail. It's a really good test of golf (bring your A-game), plays beautifully and is loads of frustrating fun - great design, cheers!

Another fantastic piece of work Jimbo. A great challenging course and another keeper for my library. You are a very talented designer and I hope you continue with your great work. Look forward to your next one.

Absolutely fantastic job done here, especially with the elevation work. It was a joy to play. I could very well have mistook it for a real course. Well done Jimbo. ;)

The way we are playing here you might want to throw the clubs in the lake. If you throw the clubs in the lake, you might miss the lake.
No course in the works: retired. |

Very good moderately hilly course made scenic by good use of slopes.,bunkers.,ponds and planting. Thought holes 2.,6.,7.,8.,11 and 14 were the most scenic.

..Excellent layout..just love the elevation changes..especially on the par threes.. ..Not long but not easy.. ..You have to think about your approach shots ..the greens are full of bounce & run.. ..Thanks for sharing..

Hi Jimbo Thank you for uploading course. It feels like a real course rather than fantasy. I liked the background pano...very well done. Also, some of elevation work added some tricky club selection. Thank you again for sharing your creation.

Very nice course. Enjoyed playing it. I thought this course was real. Didn't realize it was a fantasy course until I read the comment from rgaps. I like how the hills were used in the course. Thank you Jimbo63 for making this course and uploading it for us to play.

Great to have you back Jimbo with this sublime course, undulating in a great, picturesque way. I love it (and I think so will do may other TW08 fans). (5 stars course!)
