Superb design of one of England's toughest, and it sure plays that way. This course takes no prisoners - whether in dry or wet (tried in both) it punches like Frazier. Lovely on the eye and smooth on the touch, this is the 'black label' stuff. Cheers!

A gorgeous links course with its share of mounds, high rough and bunkers ! With twisted and undulated fairways and cute little thatched-roof houses (1st, 3rd holes, to name a few), this par-70 is very nice to look at and very enjoyable... provided you don't end up using your bucket and spade too many times... On the front 9, I like the approach shot to the green of the par-4 4th hole, with those nice houses behind and the par-4 5th with its slightly downhill tee shot (with a seashore view) and that big mound right in the middle of the fairway. The long dogleg to the left par-5 7th hole is nice too (as long as you don't look at the 3 nuclear power plants in the background !), just like the twisted par-4 8th with its downhill sloped fairway leading to the green. Coming back, the seashore view of the par-3 11th hole is nice and the dogleg to the left par-4 13th has a nice approach shot to the green. As for the par-5 14th hole, a little creek runs parallel to the fairway (on the right side) and a little bit across midway, while the remaining holes are mostly straightforward, except for the slightly curved to the left par-4 17th hole. With yellow (!) scoreboards, a beautiful seashore and very nice plantings and layout, this Royal St Georges course is a definite keeper, designed, once again, by the CGX team...

Great course. Each time I play it I see more bits of detail. Always one or two shots over par. The course is maddingly good.

This is one heck of golf course. Fun to play but you have to pay attention. It does have traps but it also has mounds in the middle of the fairways. Thank you CGX Design Team for uploading this course for us to play !!
