Wentworth a fine old english course.CGX did a good job on this one.
Tree lined fairways and well shaped sand traps make this easy on the eye.
This one would be on easier scale,but its a joy to play

When you download a course from the CGX Team, you can be sure of two things : the design will be great and the playibility will be smooth. Needless to say, this par-72 fulfills both !
The next criteria do not depend from the designing team but from the course itself : is it visually attractive and is it challenging enough ? Well, this course is not breathtaking but it has some nice holes ; as for being tough, you will have plenty of opportunities for birdies and you should finish with a low score.
Nice holes on the front 9 include the par-5 4th, a dogleg to the left with a stream running across the fairway twice, the par-4 7th, a dogleg to the right, again with a creek splitting the fairway and the par-4 9th with its narrow and bunker-lined fairway. But my favorite hole is the par-4 8th with plenty of water very close to the pin.
On the back 9, I like the green of the nice par-3 10th hole, hidden by trees, and the par-4 11th hole, a scenic dogleg to the left with bunkers to contend with. If the par-5 12th is interesting too with trees in the middle of the fairway and the par-3 14th hole is visually nice with high rough on both sides of the fairway leading to the elevated green, my favorite hole is the picturesque par-4 18th with its serpentine creek all the way to the green.
With nice plantings and not too many... BMW signs to look at (most of them are behind the tees - LOL !), this course is a definite keeper, albeit I would not rank it as a masterpiece.

Wentworth is a 'national treasure' of a golf course but there are not many computer versions of it.., this is one of the best.

..other than Wentworth's famous mowed fairways (not in the design)..this is a excellent rendition of my fave course in the UK..
