Not played this one in a very long time , most likely I was still a true swinger back then, but all I can say is now that I play advanced 3 click the course not only looks great but plays so well and a wonderful test of online cyber golf, I had so much fun all the way round, once again many thanks for sharing and for all the other great courses over the years by the team.

Again, water is no longer grainy and... green, if you play this course with TW08 (as I just did), but it does not change my first impression as this CGX Colonial Country Club is not the most exciting course you will ever play.
Following my previous comments, I just need to add that the nice right dogleg par-4 9th hole, with a tee shot over a small stream (and a little bridge on the left) has a small pond in front of the green, with beautiful flowers and bushes behind it, and that the gorgeous par-3 13th is, definitely, my favorite hole with a big lake bending to the right in front of the green.
I also liked, the second time around, the other par-3 hole, the 16th, slightly uphill all the way, with a little stream running diagonally in front of the tee box and a small elongated pond in front of the green on the right.
As for the left dogleg par-4 18th hole, you will have to watch out for a small elongated lake on the left near the green, before heading for the... tennis courts further to the left !

After playing the last two courses at Sotogrande (Spain), this course is not as spectacular but it plays smoothly.
With its nice tree-lined fairways, this par-70 is more of a classic-style course without too many challenging holes. On the front 9, I like the two doglegs to the right, the par-5 1st hole and, my favorite, by far, the very scenic par-4 9th with its little bridge on the left side near the tee and its nice overview near the green.
The back 9 has a few nicer holes, starting with the par-4 10th with water in front of the tee and its narrow path to the green, the pretty par-3 13th with its wide lake in front and the par-4 18th hole with all the flowers and bushes around the green.
Overall, this course might not be the best ever designed by the CGX Team, but it is worth playing (even with water looking grainy and... green (!) on my PC, unlike the two previous courses I played in Sotogrande...).

Tree Lined. Very nice course with mature trees and overhanging branches that can be a problem if your not playing well.Fairways and greens are good - just need to be on your game. Looks good and plays good. Played along with pros and shot 74,68,61 and 67. Thanks for sharing!

The course does not install for me. There are no *.txt *.tcr *.dds *.ini or *.tga files included with the course zip files. I'm guessing that's why it does not install for me.
