Well, here is another course that looks terrific with TW08 and, unfortunately, not so much with TW07 because of the water (see my previous message on Jan, 2, 2021) ! To come to this conclusion, I just finished playing not one, but two TW08 versions (!), back-to-back, and, unlike BJMac (among other players...), I prefer the EA version over the CGX one. Water looks a little bit nicer, there are more trees around the holes (and no bare land, mostly on the right with the CGX version), and I did not have to face a few Tiger Woods fans really close to the tee box (on the 10th hole), or dressed in very vivid colors (mostly white from far away) on the 2nd hole ! Despite nice flags, VIP tents and camera towers (seen on the CGX version only), both versions look very similar except, on the gorgeous par-3 13th hole, where the peninsula in the middle of the lake is much bigger on the CGX version (maybe it was enlarged 8 years after the EA version was released...). Even though all holes look nice, I, especially, like the left dogleg par-5 2nd, with its fairway hugging an elongated lake on the right (ending to the far right of the green), and its nice approach shot to the green (where you should be able to putt for an an eagle), and the par-4 4th hole, with a tee shot over a winding elongated creek to the right (with a small meandering bunker all along on the edge) and a second shot shot over a small creek crossing the fairway in front of the green, slightly to the right. The right dogleg par-4 5th hole is pretty too, with a tee shot over a big elongated lake (mostly on the right) and a small elongated bunker all along on its left edge, a small pond, further to the left, and a nice approach to the green with a big bunker in front (on the right). The par-4 7th hole is not to be overlooked either, with two small creeks, a little bit apart on the left side of the fairway, with an elongated bunker, halfway and going all along the right edge of the one further to the right, and a tiny elongated pond and a bunker on the right of the green. The course, then, becomes more spectacular, starting with the wide open and scenic right dogleg par-5 9th hole, with two separate small lakes on the right, and a long second shot over a small meandering creek across, and with a big elongated bunker on the left in front of the green. The back 9 is more scenic and tougher, starting with the left dogleg par-5 11th hole, with an elongated small creek on the left, a tee shot over a wide bunker across and a very tough approach to the green, with a small elongated pond on the right and a bunker all along on its edge. One of my favorite holes is the par-3 13th, very picturesque and tough, with a tee shot over a wide lake, mostly on the left (with a small - depending on your version - and elongated peninsula in the middle) and a small green, with an elongated bunker in front to the right. As for the last three holes, you will have a... ball discovering them ! The par-5 16th is a left dogleg, with a tee shot over an elongated lake and a tough approach to the green, with another big lake on the right (and the flag very close to it !), and is followed by the signature par-3 17th hole, with its... peninsula green (yes, but looking more like a superb island green, with a tiny little... island and a lone tree on the right), and the left dogleg par-4 18th, with its fairway hugging a very wide lake on the left. But, no matter which version you like or you will end up playing, this course is a must download and ranks pretty high on many players' lists, with its beauty, and challenging holes, with so much water to deal with...

One of my favorites, mostly because I can't beat it no matter what I do! Most difficult for me are the greens which make great approach shots only ok, and poor approach shots terrible! Playing it today on the 2nd day of the Players 2021...and I missed the cut...again! Great course, great job by the CGX team, thanks for making courses realistic and challenging at the same time...takes a lot of talent to do that.

No doubt a terrific course and here CGX have improved on the stock version - this one really puts you 'there', it looks amazing and the gameplay is perfect. It's definitely a target-golf paradise.. or hell, depending on your round and your outlook. And definitely always a challenge! I've probably been beaten by the course more times than I've beaten it - it's a killer track. Great stuff as always from CGX, just superb, cheers!

Well, it's not my day today ! After finishing playing at the CGX Muirfield Village, here is another course whose beauty is totally spoiled by a big (TW07) displaying bug as water, this time, appears grainy and brown ! Just like at the Muirfield Village, this par 72 looks gorgeous, with... water on every single hole (!), requiring quite a bit of thinking about hitting your approach shots. If you add wide and/or elongated sand traps, "cute" and tiny bunkers near some greens, beautiful plantings and a nice clubhouse and grandstands, this course offers quite a different challenge from a lot of other courses with plenty of water hazards and some tough pin placements. Superb from the 1st tee to the 18th green, TPC Sawgrass is, of course, world-famous for its signature hole, the gorgeous par-3 17th and its island green. So, if you have not done it yet, hurry to download this CGX-designed masterpiece : you won't regret it !

Awesome course RobC - watched the players championship and played along with it. Great rendition you have done with it. Looks great and plays great. Shot 70,68,71,69. Loved it! As I played this course - it was like I was there. Thank you for all hard work you put in to make this course and sharing with us.
