This Scottish links-style course is another great creation from the CGX Team and PCDurum.
With a nice sea to look at, high mounds, sand dunes, wide but shallow (rather than pot-hole) bunkers on almost every hole and fescue grasses all over, this par-71 is not as easy as it might look, especially if you end up in deep rough !
If you add the great elevation work done, you end up with a very nice layout even though the scenery is not as spectacular as you would expect from a course near the ocean.
(By the way, I still have not figured out what these six white structures really represent near the 1st and 18th holes - office buildings ?).
One thing for sure is that you won't pile up birdies on this course : your best bets will be on the par-4 holes, mostly doglegs with wide fairways, and on the gorgeous par-3 holes (3rd, 8th, 15th and 17th), provided that you choose the right club to reach the steep downhill greens...
As for the par-5 holes (1st, 9th and 18th), eagles are out of the question due to the 600+ yardage on all of them...

..The designers have done a excellent job on this course that I do not really like..
..Actually their design makes the place look tempting to play when in reality it is not..

Some huge slopes that needed major surgery and much tweaking! We did the best we could in our time! C: I must admit I enjoyed working on it but was frustrated by the featureless general layout that I think visitors actually struggle with! The course itself was drawn out to the yard!

It is a controversial course in reality and not exactly pleasing on the eye in some respects! In a gusty wind some of the par 4s are very severe but it is what it is and I am confident that it is far more accurate than the version at Perfect Golf for what it's worth! C:

Tripel43 I made both the 1st and the 18th par 5s as both can be played as that and I think play better as par 5s? It is perhaps not a perfect rendition as we didn't have a lot of time to work on it,Jim did a lot of the early groundwork! Very happy to be back Mark C:

sometimes I thought I was playing at some kind of junkyard, but even then THE Team succeeded in turning it into a nice course.
I Googled the real course and saw some differences with the TW design (in advantage of the real one), but nevertheless: thanks for the good work you've done for our pleasure...
