Well, I guess it was bound to happen : I thought I had seen everything on a golf course but, today, I played my first round of golf next to a... runway !
Thankfully, there were no planes taking off or landing to disrupt my concentration but, as you will see for yourself, the 4-hole stretch (11th to 14th included) is right next to it. Obviously, this must the fastest way to land at the Sea Island Retreat Course, beautifully designed by Tee OFF Golf, with its tree-lined and wide fairways, smooth greens and lakes !
This par 72 plays very smoothly and is not overly difficult with my favorite holes being the par-4 6th, a dogleg with the lake to the right and the par-5 17th hole, quite pretty too with, once again, water on the right side.
In short, another nice, but not really challenging course from Tee Off Golf, where you should finish with a low score if you don't miss... your plane !
