If you can count up to four, you should be OK on this course : unfortunately, most of the time, I stopped at one, two... tree (LOL) ! This par 72 will give you nightmares if you don't hit very accurate tee shots to avoid all the trees around the corners of most dogleg holes and near some greens. And if that is not enough, meandering streams, a few ponds and some small islands will stop you from going for broke on some holes... The right dogleg par-4 1st hole starts nicely with two small islands with trees and nice flowers in the middle of the fairway and a tough approach shot to the green. Then, following the left dogleg par-4 2nd with its undulated fairway, the par-3 3rd hole is very nice with another small island in the middle, with flowers around... the trees ! The right dogleg par-5 4th is a very tough hole as you will have to think twice about club selection to avoid landing in the meandering creek following your tee shot. Then, after another dogleg to the left, the long par-3 6th hole with its peninsula green will make you sweat quite a bit as the green is relatively small. Thankfully, the short right dogleg par-5 7th hole should give you a chance for an eagle, if you can hit a good tee shot in the middle of the downhill fairway to avoid the... tree in the corner, near the lake ! As for the right dogleg par-4 9th hole, you will have a beautiful view of the small island on the left side of the fairway and the green, with gorgeous flowerbeds near the trees... If the left dogleg par-5 10th hole is nice with its meandering creek on the left side, the right dogleg par-5 11th hole will give you fits as it is very hard to find a spot where to land your ball off the tee with that big island in the middle (in fact, on the opposite side of the 9th hole) ! After that "nightmarish" (but beautiful) hole, the next few holes should offer you birdie opportunities : the left dogleg par-4 12th, with trees around the corner and a big pond in front of the green, and the two par-3 14th, with an island on the left side and a twisted path on the right side, and the less scenic 15th hole. Finally, upon reaching the par-4 18th hole, you will have one last opportunity for a birdie after admiring the gorgeous small island in the middle of the lake, not far from the green and the clubhouse, with, once again, great plantings ! Needless to say, your final score might influence the way you feel about this course as trees come into play everywhere, making it quite challenging and unusual. But one thing is for sure : thekid1435 designed one of his best courses...

Great course Tony. Those damn trees got me again, but that is why they are there I suppose.

The way we are playing here you might want to throw the clubs in the lake. If you throw the clubs in the lake, you might miss the lake.
No course in the works: retired. |

I'll take a different tack & give a nod to the lakes & streams around the course. You're hitting over water on many of the par 3s, plus there are judicious placements of both on the longer holes. Also liked the colourful plants on the "islands in the stream" - an enjoyable challenge all round...

Great course Tony really have to pay attenion as where you place your tee shots. Greens are work if you can't get it close.
Great Job Tony keep it up.

tony again it is an excellent course with a nice pano. It is a very difficult course if you are not precise and accurate. I stop counting the trees on your course. I wonder how those trees grow up always at the wrong place. Continue the good work tony and hope to get more courses from you in the future GREENLIGHT

Hey Tony---What a piece of work!!!! Outstanding course---you have really outdone yourself here. Your fairways are becoming more and more of a challenge and as usual the trees are strategically placed. You can take a short cut but you better have that slider all the way over to the right or you're gonna be in deep kimshee. I scored well---not my usual perfect -11 for nine holes. Great work---lots of ups and downs and much smaller greens than I am used to seeing on your courses and those greens are tough. You better be within a few feet of the pin or be prepared to pay the price with a nasty breaking putt. Not sure you can make one better than this but the challenge is there for you to try. MDM3673
