Another great design by the CGX Team, this time in Shanghai.
Not only this course plays well, it is also quite challenging, at times, with elevated greens, water hazards and tough pin placements.
I, particularly, like the par 5s on this par-72 course : the gorgeous 2nd hole, a dogleg to the left with a downhill tee shot and its stream running alongside the fairway, the 8th, similar to the 2nd hole but with a very tough approach shot to the green with the stream in front of the green, the 14th, very long with the lake on the right side and the 18th, a gorgeous way to end your round.
If you add the nice and scenic par-4 9th and the par-4 16th, where you can reach the green from the tee, and the par-3 17th, two holes where your tee shot flies over some small cliffs, you have a great course to play with.
With plenty of people to cheer you up all along and some nice red pyramide-shaped tee markers, this course is a definite keeper for me and I hope for you too, thanks to the CGX Team !
