A gorgeous course, especially on the back 9, originally designed by Jack Nicklaus, no less !
With superb plantings, wide and undulated tree-lined fairways and well-placed bunkers, this par-72 is no pushover with some tough holes on the way home.
On the front 9, I like the dogleg to the left par-4 2nd hole and the dogleg par-5 4th with a lake on the right side, but the best holes are the last two : the short and sharp dogleg to the left par-5 8th hole with a tough second shot over the water, and the similar par-4 9th, with its nice view of the clubhouse near the green.
The back 9 is more spectacular with a stretch of gorgeous holes, starting with the par-4 10th, a dogleg to the right with a second shot heading toward a steep downhill green with water in front, the par-4 11th and 12th, with beautiful meandering creeks crossing the fairways back and forth, and the par-3 13th, with the flag pretty close to the creek.
The par-3 16th hole is nice too with its huge bunker on the left side of the green, just like the par-5 17th with a tough second shot over the water to reach the small green guarded by two bunkers. As for the par-4 18th, it has a nice view of the clubhouse around the green.
With wide fairways and smooth greens, this course may not seem difficult but you will need to hit pretty accurate shots, mostly over the water, to have good scoring opportunities.
"Bear that in mind" (as Jack Nicklaus might have said...) and you will have a great time on this superb PC course designed by the CGX team !

Loved this course - wide open fairways and large greens. Certainly no push over - played in calm conditions as an Amateur and once I have worked my way up to Pro - will be back to play in tougher conditions. Very nice design. Thank you.

It took me a years hard work to break scratch on expert but I wasted 5 years thinking it was fun playing advanced from 2015 onwards! Give Expert a go for a challenge guys!

TW08 has not been matched in decade since it was released! Perfect Golf runs like a pig on my 16 meg high tech machine and designing is a con atm to be fair unless you are prepared to spend big bucks and spend months learning a difficult course creator! Perfect Golf is not the answer!

Phil I think EASports gave up on the PC Golf game about 5 years ago to be honest just when they had it by the balls! I think it lost a lot of the best programmers,creators and future developers in that very sad process but that is the game they are playing atm!

Really nice course. Some of the holes are just beautiful like #10. Well done team CGX Design.

If I would ever be named all the legends that worked at PGAX/CGX my words would explode in a sympathy of regret!
Someday all the work that was done by many great designers and people will be aknowledged I hope?
