Here is another well-designed course from the CGX team which runs smoothly and is fun to play as you contemplate the city and highrise skylines. With very nice plantings, undulated and/or rollercoaster fairways, smooth greens and some well-placed bunkers, this par-72 has some interesting holes, starting with the 3 doglegs to the left, the par-4 2nd, with a downhill green, the tough par-5 3rd, with a lake along the fairway and a long approach to the green, and the par-4 4th with another downhill green. If the easy par-3 6th and 8th holes are nice with the skyline and ocean as a backdrop, I prefer the longer (630 yards !) par-5 7th with its downhill slope offering an even better view. On the back 9, less difficult, I like the par-4 16th hole with its narrow fairway and, to a lesser extent, the dogleg to the left par-4 18th. All in all, the Lake Karriyup course is a nice course to keep, albeit not overly difficult...
P.S. If you play with TW07, you need to turn off the animated trees in order for the course to download

@Jackn, There are a few Aussie courses I'd like to try and do if I can. There are some great courses in Australia! Jimbo did a great version of Royal Melbourne.I would struggle to equal it! New South Wales is a great course! I think BruceR did a version of that also. C:

Great course. Had to have a beer as I could feel the heat. They must empty the Indian ocean to keep it as green as that. Excellent.

Just finished a much-enjoyed round here, lots of subtle variations. The blurb mentions wide fairways & there are many, but you don't have to wait too long to see they're not ALL wide. You'll see what I mean once you're standing on the 3rd tee...
