Four years after Neil Munro's version, the CGX team released this version in 2015, and I decided to check it out to see if there were some major differences.
Thankfully, there are not too many : in fact, it is a matter of personal taste as to which version you will prefer when you compare holes.
For example, on the par-3 16th hole (which looks a lot like the... 16th at Augusta !), the pond looks nicer on Neil Munro's version (on the CGX team's, water has stripes) but the edges around it are better in the latter one (at least playing with the TW07 edition).
Similarly, the CGX team has a little more elevation changes and has grandstands, not visible in the 2011 version.
Nevertheless, the bottom line remains the course itself and it plays smoothly, no matter what version you are dealing with. While not the most difficult course, the TPC Boston has some nice holes, like the par-5 2nd hole, a dogleg to the right with water near the green, the par-4 6th, also with water near the green or the long par-5 7th.
Coming back, the view of the slightly downhill par-4 13th is quite nice, just like the forementioned par-3 16th hole, and the dogleg to the right par-5 18th hole.
So, whether you choose to play both courses or keep only one, you won't be disappointed either way, thanks to the great design of Neil Munro and the CGX team !

Surprised no comments in nearly 3 years. This an excellent course - plays great and back 9 I find plays tougher than the front so you can not let your guard down on this course or it will bite. Looks good and plays good and also plays smooth. I like it! Thanks to the designer for sharing this great course with us. Its a keeper!

I have played it today a few times and all seems okay to me also! I've Checked the tca. and it all looks okay!It has played okay on the CGX tour for 3 years now with only a few minor tweaks!

Hole no7 is playing 600+ yds for me mcalfie and is okay on the scorecard! Not sure what is happening with your version tbh? I did put 4 tees per hole on it Pat although I must admit I have not tested the forward tees! I hope they are okay!

A lot of CGX courses are only playable from the Pro tees, so it is possible you have to set the Pro tees

Is there anything wrong with hole 7? My yardage is erm... 277778112 Yards(Can't post the picture here...)
Or do I need to uninstall and reinstall the coourse(did it 2x still the same!)
