An enjoyable course, with a couple of big lakes to deal with, plenty of tree-lined fairways... and greens, and with a few elevation changes, making your approaches quite tricky, at times.
Noteworthy holes on the front 9 are the left dogleg par-4 2nd, with a tee shot flying above a small rocky mound in the corner (and trees), halfway, and landing along the lake on the right, and the par-3 3rd, with its green, surrounded by trees and the lake.
I also like the scenic par-4 5th hole, with a slingshot-shaped lake, over which you need to hit your tee shot and follow with a tough approach to the elevated and undulating green (framed in front by two big trees), the par-3 6th, slightly downhill and with a narrow tree-lined fairway, and the right dogleg par-4 7th hole, with a big bunker in the left corner of the tree-lined (and undulating) fairway, midway...
Coming back, after hitting a blind tee shot on the par-3 12th hole to reach the green, with 2 big rocks on both sides, in front, you will enjoy the last three holes : the par-3 16th is quite picturesque, with an island green, in the middle of a wide sandy area, just like the left dogleg par-4 17th hole, with a tee shot landing onto a wide island fairway, and a second shot over the lake to reach the green, and the dogleg par-5 18th where, despite its small green, framed by trees, you should be able to get one last eagle chance before... diving into the big swimming pool (behind on the right), near the clubhouse.
With its nice plantings and small bridges to gaze at, this par 71 is fun to play, and if you can avoid the water hazards and thick trees, you should not feel at the end like an... old man, on this oldman959's pleasant course !
