Lovely design, the course is a real picture and plays beautifully. Nice slick greens add good degree of difficulty, as do some tricky tee shots - gotta choose your clubs wisely. Interesting and enjoyable layout, lots of fun throughout, really great work MSR. Cheers!

A well-designed and beautiful course which plays very smoothly and is quite challenging, at times, with the water hazards. With its two-colored fairways, nice plantings and quite a few ponds and lakes, there is plenty of variety on this par-71 course to keep you on your toes. Even though I did not see the blimp nor the fountains (as shown in the photo gallery), this course has some very nice holes, starting with the par-4 2nd, slightly curved to the right with a big lake on the left, the gorgeous dogleg to the left par-4 3rd with a creek running across the fairway, just like on the par-3 4th hole. The par-3 6th hole is very pretty with its flying tee shot over the water and so is the dogleg par-4 7th with the lake on the right side. On the back 9, I like the twisted par-4 11th hole with the lake on the left side, the nice view of the green surrounded by the water on the short par-5 12th, the easy but scenic par-3 14th and the par-5 15th with its narrow path midway through the fairway and then the lake on the left side of the fairway and green. With a nice par-4 18th hole to finish, this course is a delight to watch (love those tangerine-colored trees...) and play, and it will definitely be added to my around-the-world collection of best courses, thanks to MSR's designing talent !

The course should install perfect now with the Create myzip feature. There was nothing wrong with the course, it was a problem with Coursedownloads.

I suspected it might have been that umlauted ë but didn't think it would really cause a failure to install. When I downloaded the plain zip it came over as 9156_golfsoci%EBteitde.zip - no umlaut, and installed fine. Incidentally I have my Firefox set to Unicode (UTF8) as the default character encoding. Under Unicode that ë appears as a blue diamond with a question mark on it. Only after I switch to characters Western (Windows-1252) does it show up as the ë - but I also tried that as the MyZip and it didn't work either. I think this may point to avoiding using Windows Word/doc conventions is naming courses or their sub-files - even though the game is obviously Windows.

Thanks for posting the solution Tranz. There is nothing wrong with the course or the cls file. The problem is that sometimes certain characters are not recognized by the create myzip feature. In this case it is this character, the e with the 2 dots on it: ë On most PC systems the course will be installed correct with the create myzip feature, but some systems will refuse to install the course. But as Tranz posted in previous comment, when you have problems with the create myzip feature you can download the coursefile without the create myzip feature.

If anyone else ever has this install problem, I just succeeded with installing Vuursche by bypassing the MyZip, straight zip, works, happy now.

Tranz, this course has a few fountains scripts in the cls file. Try deleting the cls file.

This is the only course out of my 470 where I get a failure to install. Oh, the TW Caddie 08 will open and "install" the course, with no alerts-complaints, but then it doesn't show up in the Caddie OR the TW game OR the CLTool. It also doesn't show up in my C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses folder sorted by Date, so no wonder the other things shrug.

It's a beauty! Second TW08 in the Netherlands (after the fantasy course de Zaanse Schans, by The Kid) The Kennemer Golf course at Zandvoort might be a new challenge for our excellent group of golf course designers (it's a beauty too gentlemen). Thanks very much..
