Interesting course where I was happy to spend more time on the dry land than on the... wet lands ! Like other players mentioned, water is not much of a hazard but you will need to hit more accurate shots on the back 9 to avoid it. While not spectacular or really challenging, this par-72 course has a few holes worth mentioning : the par-4 5th, where you will have to hit shots over the water twice and, to a lesser extent, the par-5 9th, slightly curved to the left with an unusual white-colored roof clubhouse. The back 9 is a little more scenic with its tree-lined fairways (par-4 10th and par-5 11th holes). The par-4 12th hole has trees on the right side and water on the left, whereas on the par-3 13th, I am still wondering why there are two abandoned power lines still standing on the left side near the green... The best hole, visually, is the par-4 17th, a dogleg to the left with plenty of water around the fairway and the green. In resume, The Wetlands GC is a pleasant course, well designed by Tee Off Golf, where you will have a nice and relaxing round, which is nice thing to have, once in a while...

Excellent design and a very pleasant, relaxed course that isn't too demanding at any stage. As the name suggests there is plenty of water throughout but it's seldom threatening or intimidating.. rather it's the type of layout that if you find yourself in trouble a few times then you're really not playing well at all lol. That said, it's certainly an enjoyable course (nothing wrong with killing a scorecard now and then), it's quite picturesque without being flashy, and plays ultra smooth - the greens especially were lovely. Cheers!
