With a gorgeous panoramic view of the valley, this par 72, set on a plateau, plays very smoothly but is not overly difficult with wide fairways and greens and a few short par-4 and par-5 holes, give or take a few… On the front 9, I like the short (less than 500 yards) right dogleg par-5 1st hole, with its breathtaking view and its downhill slope all the way to the green to the right, the right dogleg par-4 2nd, with a tee shot over a few trees and across a lake, and the short (less than 500 yards) left dogleg par-5 6th hole, with a tee shot over trees bordering a lake all the way across the fairway. As for the short (less than 500 yards) left dogleg par-5 9th hole with, again, another tee shot over the small lake across the fairway, you should have a golden opportunity to score an eagle. The back 9 has a couple of interesting holes, mainly the par-4 12th, with its nice downhill view and its green, slightly to the left, and the unusually-long (at least for this course !) right dogleg par-5 14th hole (more than 650 yards), with a tough tee shot over trees hiding the fairway and an approach shot across a lake in front of the green. Deer Park Golf Club is very pleasant to play and its panorama overshadows the course itself, rather “easy”, except for a few doglegs, and is well designed, thanks to Ronald79’s time and efforts…

i tried it on advanced 3 click and although the faster greens are very slick, was a great fun test, and i did manage to score -10 even on difficult pins, my only issue is the planting was a little bland , and to open for me , maybe more trees tighter around the fairways would be a big upgrade but all in all a very good course , many thanks for sharing

Following the adjustment for the greens speed given below I gave it a test run of 9 holes and on normal I thought it actually played a little faster than "dry" which was fine. Interestingly the ball still bit and gave backspin, so I thought that was an upgrade as well (i.e., normal green that plays faster but still bites). Thanks very much!

This course is unplayable on dry greens. The fast green texture SUCKS and should NEVER be used on any course.

Nice course to look at; putting an agony; are we playing to have fun or to get grey hairs?

Played this course a couple of times. Yes, the greens are treacherous in dry conditions, but they are not unplayable. Very good design and the greens make this course a challenge.

Billys fast greens library is used on this course, so yes the greens will be very fast. very wet greens will play as wet greens Wet greens will play as normal greens Normal greens will play as dry greens Dry greens will play as very dry greens Very dry greens will play as extremely dry greens

I have played all 18 holes and in the main I find it Xcellant However i have found that certain points of putting let say 10 feet and you miss it by an inch even though you hit the putt correctly it will sail past 44 / 50 feet Maybe the speed of the greens but maybe a glitch in the build
