This course is beautiful with its colorful landscape and it plays smoothly without being overly difficult. Thankfully, unlike a lot of links-style courses, this par-71 does not have any mounds or deep bunkers to worry about, but you will still need to hit some pretty accurate shots to avoid the high rough. And it starts right off the tee on the par-4 1st hole where an enormous bush is "staring" at you, leaving you with a tough choice : either go over (but with what club ?) or go around (but with a great chance of ending in the... rough)! After this unusual start, there are two doglegs to the left with the par-5 2nd hole, being the prettiest with its little creeks close to both sides of the fairway. The easy par-3 5th hole, with its wide green, looks nice from above, just like the dogleg to the left par-4 6th hole, quite scenic with the creek running across then along the right side of the fairway. On the back 9, just like on the 1st hole, you will be faced with another risk/reward decision on the par-4 11th where a "z-shaped" creek is guarding the green, reachable from the tee. Most of the following holes are pretty straightforward until the dogleg to the right par-4 18th, pleasant to look at around the green. MSR Golf came up with another nicely-designed course which breaks away from some of the more traditional links-style courses seen in England, and he deserves a lot of credit for making it quite enjoyable !

Another super design from MSR - have played a few now and all are top-shelf. Really nice course too, very pleasant and a decent challenge with the wind up. Cheers!

Excellent design with nice textures..ramp the wind up & the narrow fairways are hard to hit..

Another beautiful design, a real poster child for golf in the midlands of the UK. There are not too many of those designs available on this site. I never tire of playing your courses. Thank you as alwsys for your efforts. I can well appreciate all the time and love you put into all your courses.
