read some of the previous comments and wasnt sure how it would play on dry greens, i play advanced 3 click and use the tournament tees if the courses allow , i normally play dry breezy and difficult pins for the best challenge and this course suits that very well. i shot - 9 with a couple of careless bogeys so many thanks for all you hard work on this one i had a great time

Rather than saying unfair then to not split straws the course is unplayable in expert mode using very dry setting. That means it is not able to be played in the spirit of the game. It is not about practice, skill or anything. It is flat out unplayable. So while he may have 135 courses complete, that doesn't mean they are being built and tested in all methods and mode of play. As far as using the easy modes, then it is playable and rather easy. There is nothing wrong with building it how ever the designer would like, but then if it is not playable in a certain manner or mode it should be noted in the description so that people who do play those modes will know in advance.

molrub- unfair would mean you was disadvantaged....and I don't see that! Everyone has to face the same greens so how are you disadvantaged? Maybe more time should be spent practicing difficult putts and maybe that will rectify the problem instead of busting the balls of a man who has over 135+ courses under his belt.

MOW-It is not a case of being too tough more of a case of being unfair when the ball is continually rolling back to your feet.

I have yet to play a round on willie's new course but after reading all the posts I figured I would add my 2 cents worth. It doesn't matter what name willie attaches to these courses (elite club, stingers, etc.)they are still classic willie courses. The way he designs his courses makes it a challenge from the time you tee off till the time you sink your putt. Usually the tree's and the dog leg's give you the opportunity for that risk and reward shot. and when you do make it to the green you better have your A game when it comes to putting. Whether it is a fantasy or a real course he designs you better have your A game when playing his designs. I have always been a big fan of his courses. I don't care what level you play, you better expect a great challenge when playing his designs. Maybe if it is to tough for you at expert....you should drop a level or 2 and enjoy what this man is putting out there.
Thanks for making them Willie !

And by the way Idaho, not everyone in the Stingers Club plays novice. Some of us do play Intermediate and Advance. Unlike some of the other clubs, the Stingers only permit 3 click and trueswing.

I guess when we kicked Idaho Jim out of the stingers club for his 2 click en ways he must of been bitter. Anyone can play expert when there 2 click en. Any time Mr Idaho wants to come over an challenge us and play some real golf at any level will be waiting for him. Sorry but the man has bad taste in in words. Maybe some of you should design your own courses because you all seem to be great EXPERTS at it.

Just keep pumping out these great courses Willie. Love the fact that your greens aren't all flat and make for a challenge.

Front nine played great BUT the back nine with all the uneven tee boxes and rollback on 10th and 13th green showed that once again your courses are not suitable for playing Expert-Very Dry and that is a shame because your course designs are very good. Please seek advice from some of the better designers regarding making your courses playable at all levels.
