A true test some very tricky holes
Plays smooth 5 star track

Just finished playing four rounds under different conditions and ended up even par. This is truly a very good course to play along with the pros this week. Again I would like to thank the designer for a wonderful rendition!

beautiful rendition of this classic from 2007. not only it plays very well, but it also looks great ! with nice plantings, ponds, lakes and some tough holes, this par 70 is no gimme and you better be on your toes all the time if you don't want to feel sorry at the end of your round.
on the front 9, the dogleg par-4 3rd hole, with its lake on the left side, is nice (even though the house on the right, halfway through appears fuzzy on both sides...), just like the par-4 4th hole, with its creek running along the fairway on the right side and those big bunkers on both sides of the slightly elevated green.
but my favorite hole is the very sharp dogleg par-5 6th, with its "boomerang-shaped" fairway hugging the lake on the left : simply superb ! the dogleg to the right par-4 8th hole is nice too with its green surrounded by the lake in front and bunkers on the right.
the first three holes on the back 9 have slightly elevated greens, with the dogleg par-4 11th, looking a lot like the 3rd hole. the par-4 13th hole is beautiful with its green set between two small lakes, and so is the "easy" par-3 14th, with bunkers on both sides of the fairway in front of the green.
just like on the front 9, i have a favorite hole on the back 9, the par-3 17th, simply gorgeous with its lake between the tee and the green and its beautiful trees and overview. as for the par-4 18th hole, it will make your hands sweat one last time as the flag is very close to the water...
with its zizagging walking paths, nice city skyline as a backdrop, and its cute little umbrellas as tee markers (strangely "resting" on the ground on the 4th, 6th and 8th holes !), this course is a definite keeper as it combines a nice landscape with some challenging holes, thanks to this updated version done by instigatordj001 !

Most enjoyable version of Bayhill I have ever played. One minor gremlin is that on hole six tee my computer opponent insists on hitting the ball into the rough. Great to see you back puzzling over the panos.,pondering over the shot-lines and tinkering with the textures.

This layout follows the Arnold Palmer Invitational 2007 layout of Par 70.

If it says this right in the course info why bother having a go at one of my courses?

Overall an ok creation. Good use of the CA but it is too bad that the current layout wasn't up to date. None of the extensive renovations which really resulted to about 75% of the entire course that was completed in 2010 were present.
