Well, once in a while, it's nice to be back home and, needless to say, seeing the Eiffel Tower and La Defense business district on quite a few holes, is somewhat unusual on a golf course !
And these were not the only surprises that I discovered on this fantasy course...
How about blue, white and red... big rocks (par-4 13th hole, for example) and bunkers (par-4 14th hole) or the French flag, standing on top of a small rock in the middle of the pond near the gorgeous green of the par-5 13th hole ?
If you include a very big rectangular (and spectacular) pond/lake near the green of the par-5 9th hole, with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop, you have a pretty good idea of what you will be dealing with on this course, quite tough, with some very narrow fairways on the long par-5 holes (9th, 12th, 18th), to go along with sharp doglegs and scenic par-3 holes (2nd, with gorgeous flowers, 5th - a beautiful island green, and 14th, with its three different-color bunkers).
So, if you really want to have fun on a golf course, this par 72 is a good place to be, even if you will not see the "Arc de Triomphe" or other famous monuments from Paris. But Cello did a real good job with this... fantasy course, and I hope you will fint out for yourself soon !
