Apparently can't have the 2009 version and this version co-exist with each other.

As rlslay said in the general info, this course is a remake ot the 2009 version. Well, after playing it, I can safely say that this one is definitely better and ranks as a masterpiece as far as I am concerned. And if you want a proof of it, read the comments below from BJMac : he (I assume he is a man !) prefers the front 9, while I like the back 9 better ! Just goes to show you... As for the toughness, I finished 8 under par on the front 9 and 5 under on the back 9 of this par-70 course (playing in novice mode). All holes are pretty but, on the front 9, I like the dogleg par-4 1st, the par-4 3rd with its very short fairway, the view of the clubhouse and parking from the green of the par-5 7th hole and the par-4 9th, with a downhill tee shot, similar to the par-4 6th, but with the beautiful clubhouse as a bonus sight. The back 9 has some gorgeous holes starting with the slightly elevated green on the par-3 10th, followed by the superb dogleg to the left par-4 12th, with its bottleneck approach to the green, surrounded by trees. The par-4 14th hole, similar to the 12th, has very wide bunkers on the left side and is gorgeous too, while the par-4 18th is nice with the clubhouse near the green. Strangely enough, spectators... left the back 9 (probably to get a drink at the clubhouse !), but when they were near the course, they did not bother to sit down on these unusually-close benches near the greens (maybe too close... for comfort!). Another nice detail added by rlslay in his updated version, along with the beautiful pano, giving this course a superb look and a peaceful atmosphere, worthy to be played again and again... Anyway,

Perfection - looks beautiful, plays beautiful, is beautiful. Always loved this course, going way back to the Links days, and this takes it to another level. Re the course itself, I always preferred the front nine (and thought it tougher) and that hasn't changed.. but the 12th is still pretty as a picture, especially here. A super little course, always a great challenge, and this is an absolute stellar design - hands down 5 stars. Congrats and cheers!

This is a remarkable achievement, Rob - a nearly perfect course. 5 stars. Extraordinary attention to detail, beauty, and playability. It's fun, too, which is the whole purpose.

You have set the level even higher again. Every aspects of this gem is at the highest level, and they are in a perfect harmony. Why I return to this course again and again. It must be that wooden bench. They are placed at very best positions, so I could imagine people park at it having casual chat between thier shots. This is a really peaceful vision, and it is why I visit this course, play the game again and again. Tranquillity and peace of mind. I expect them from your upcoming ones. Highly appreciated!

I am not trying to bash, hack or overlook anybody on my courses. I read all my comments good and bad and try to improve on what players say and work to correct my mistakes, errors, or oversight I've done. The fact is, I can please most of the players and their computers most of the time but yet have failed to find a way to please everybody all the time. I want everybody to be able to play my courses, but again I build them for myself, and I am always tring to improve the game with new ideas, ways or breaking old rules and standards for a better and exciting courses, and still share them with those who care to download them. I am not perfect or my courses, but I try. I have to asked, how many courses have you downloaded and return to leave a comment? How many courses have you downloaded of mine and left a comment?? I see a 1st time comment since joining 2010, am I right? Its ok, others have only commented on my courses to point out mistake or problems too, or leave no comment but give the lowest rating. Prairie Dunes GC 2009 has 2323 downloads and only 4 players left comments, I will least give you credit and a thank you for coming back and leaving a comment. There are many other designers to choose from, and it only take seconds to unistalled and move on to another. I want to thank everybody who has downloaded my courses and not just those who return to leave a comment......Rob

Bliss! Beauty and tranquillity. Everything is in harmony. We have never seen this level of perfection before, have we? I could spend for a while just looking upon the club house from the 9th tee. This IS the milestone in course designing. Congratulations!
