This par 71, overlooking a river and woods, is rather interesting with all those downhill holes having narrow fairways (some of them framed by high rocky hills), and greens, often guarded by small rocks in front. On the front 9, my favorite holes are the left dogleg par-5 1st, pretty with its downhill tee shot flying along a lake (on the left) and quite challenging with its very narrow approach to the green (partially hidden by trees and a couple of rocks in front), and the par-3 4th, with its blind tee shot downward to the green, next to a wide lake (on the far right and behind). If the right dogleg par-4 5th hole is tough, with its tee shot landing in front of a big hill (in the left corner), followed by a blind second shot toward the green (set at the bottom of that hill), wait until you face the right dogleg par-4 6th, with its blind and vertiginous downhill tee shot and narrow green ! Fortunately, the downhill par-4 7th hole will bring you back down to... earth, with an elongated pond on the right side, midway (on the right), ending next to the green. As if you did not have enough excitement, a similar hole to the 6th awaits you, on your way back, with the right dogleg par-4 11th, with another blind and scary downhill shot around a big hill, followed by an uphill approach to an elevated green. After going downhill, you will then have to hit a... steeply-uphill tee shot on the par-3 13th hole in order to land onto a rocky green, with a big elongated bunker in front to spice things up for you, before facing two left dogleg holes, the par-4 14th, with big hills framing the tee box and a blind tee shot coming way down offering you a clear view of a narrow green, and the easier par-4 15th, downhill along two elongated ponds (left, midway, then right near the green). You will finish with the very scenic par-3 17th hole, downhill to the green, set next to a wide elongated lake (with a nice view of the panorama), and the downhill left dogleg par-5 18th where, with a big lake not being a real hazard (on the far left), you should be able to get an eagle opportunity as its green is reachable on your second shot. With its nice panorama and steep elevations, at times, this Wooden Stick Golf Club offers some challenging holes, but some of them look too “unreal” for my taste and I did not really like the texture used for the hills or seeing the blimp fly so low near them (on the 5th hole, for example). But that does not take away the talent and imagination of KRP Designes, which is why I will.. stick to some of his other courses !

Like the course but we play Expert & Very Dry and a few hole locations it was chip in or roll off. But the course looks nice.

Some nice work here though a bit rough around the edges. All things considered a respectable design. Thanks for your hard work.
