If the "HGA Tournee de Paris" golf course only provided us with a view of the Eiffel Tower and La Defense business district, then this course should be called the "grand tour" of ancient Egypt !
On the menu, you will discover pyramids, statues of sitting gods and standing and sitting... dogs, an obelisk, a few other monuments, hieroglyphs and, least but not last, the famous Sphinx !
But my biggest surprise on this par 72 course was to see... brown fairways and greens ! After finishing my round, I still don''t know if it is a TW07 bug or if the designer really intended to include that color on the course in sharp contrast with the colors (yellow and white) of the sand.
This course has some very tough holes, with sharp doglegs, narrow fairways, blind shots and/or deep downhill greens, and some scenic holes too (my favorites, the par-4 14th and par-3 15th). As for the sand, you will need to hit very, very accurate shots to avoid it, especially on the back 9 (11th hole, for example).
And to top it all, the dogleg to the left par-4 18th hole, with the Sphinx awaiting your last approach shot, will reserve you a little surprise if you can find the flag...
Overall, DriverPutt2012 did a very good job, "transporting" us to Egypt, with all its monuments and statues, so much so that, after finishing my round, I felt like the "Bangles" and started to "walk like an Egyptian" !!!

Enjoyed our round on very dry greens. Great course and thank you, A challenge but very playable. Allow a few more yards for the roll. Cheers

Loved the fast greens but on Expert/very dry some pins you could not hold the ball anywhere near them.

I don't normally play fantasy courses, prefer real, but this course was a blast. Great work. Especially liked the heiroglyphics. Good job.

Finished 18. Lots of eye-candy, gr8 job on all the structures. The greens are like putting on ice, set them for vwet and they played gr8. I live in Florida, it's hurricane season, vwet all the time, we don't like ice! I'm sure I will play this course again and try all the dryness textures, I'm looking forward to making that 100 yard putt. Keep em coming Will. ty ed

A thumbs up for your creative/artistic talents in designing the course, could imagine myself in the desert in Eygpt, so a good job there. It's challenging to play especially with the fast grrens.
That statue in front of the green/hole on the sixth, ruined it for me...of course i hit the darned thing and got a good laugh chipping between it's legs but, after that all I could think of was a miniture golf obstacles...sorry.

I like the fast greens, there is an easy rule for it:
Dry greens... will play as: Very dry
Normal greens... will play as: Dry
Wet greens....will play as: Normal
Very wet greens will play as: Wet

just got done playing my second round and played it wet,and it was like normal
cant remember the hole number but on 1 green i was 178yrds from the hole.lol
no choice but to chip on the green which i really hate to have to do,so from here on out will make sure to get it closer.like i said before good job

first off the layout and the graphics are just beautiful all the objects are well done and look
great. the greens are very fast,maybe a bit to fast for some but i will learn to use a much lighter touch
when playing or just play them wet or very wet to slow them down some. i like this course a lot better DJL.
all in all great job there driver.
