Gorgeous course set around a very nice hilly and wooded panorama with beautiful and colorful trees, nice plantings, elevation changes, doglegs and a few water hazards. In fact, this fantasy course looks real and is a delight to watch and play. Manassas National starts very nicely with the par-4 1st hole, quite scenic with its undulated fairway and nice trees, just like the long and downhill left dogleg par-5 2nd, or the right dogleg par-4 3rd hole, with a sloped fairway and a pond across the fairway, near the green. It continues with the left dogleg par-4 5th hole, with a downhill slope and uphill green, the par-3 6th, with its steep downhill green, and the very nice par-4 7th hole, with a slightly uphill and sloped fairway all the way to the green. Other beautiful holes include the left dogleg par-5 8th, with its heavily sloped fairway, and the par-4 9th, pretty straight with an undulated fairway and a small war memorial behind the green... On the back 9, the par-4 10th hole is quite pretty with its rollercoaster fairway and trees downhill near the green, just like the par-3 12th, pretty straight but with high trees near the green. The following par-5 13th hole is pretty too, with a downhill slope and a little creek crossing the fairway and a big 8-shaped lake to the right, near the green, just like the left dogleg par-5 15th, quite scenic with a downhill fairway and a slightly elevated green with bunkers around. As for the last two holes, they are nice too : the right dogleg par-4 17th has a downhill green and a pond on the right side and the par-4 18th hole requires an uphill tee shot to discover, further down the rollercoaster fairway, the green and its war memorial on the right side. Very well designed by Hunting Leopard, this par 72 could have ranked as a top shelf course but a couple of bugs "spoiled" my round a little bit. On a few holes (2nd, 6th, 7th, 9th and 11th), there was a grainy patch between the panorama and the plot near the greens (not sure if it is only with TW07 or not...); another small bug I noticed was Tiger Woods'left foot stepping on the log of the tee marker on the 9th hole (but this was easily corrected by moving him either left or right.). And, but I am being "picky", the first round tee markers on the front 9 look strange, unlike on the back 9, where they were replaced by logs... But, whether you see these bugs or not, this course is a definite keeper and one of Hunting Leopard's best !

I thought this was a real course as I haven't played it for some time and had forgotten. Not your typical fantasy course...has a lot of good character. 4-1/2 stars!

OK, played in very dry with easy pins. Ran quite nicely for me with excellent FPS rates. Was a fun play except for one severe rollback on #4. Other than that as fantasy courses go it was enjoyable. Scenery did remind me of the Virginia battlefield area.

Sorry, my bad. I'm thinking of a course formerly known as Manassas Ridge in Manassas, VA.

I enjoyed playing this course. This is a course I would like to try playing if it was real. When I was putting on the 3rd green the game crashed. I restart TW08 and it asked if I wanted to resume, I said yes. It took be back to the tee on 3. Played the 3rd hole again and no problems. The same thing happened on hole 7 when I was putting on the green the game crashed. Teed off again from the 7th and played the hole without anymore problems. I decided to play this course again and this time the course played without incident.
