A delightful surprise, with only 3 libraries needed (!) and very scenic with a beautiful thick forest panorama above a wide river (used on only one other 2008 course), quite wide open with groups of trees planted along heavily-undulated fairways, and with slight elevation changes, a few water hazards and plenty of tall grass/deep rough to watch for along with a few tricky greens. This par 72 has quite a few nice holes, such as the straight par-5 1st, with a very undulated fairway and a blind second shot toward the green, or the right dogleg par-5 3rd, with a downhill tee shot landing near (or beyond) some deep rough splitting the fairway lengthwise (with a lone dead tree in the middle) and an elevated green, reachable on your second shot, with elongated bunkers guarding it in front. Water comes into play on the next two holes, with the downhill par-4 4th, lined up with trees (on the left), having a small lake in front of the flag (slightly to the left), and on the straight par-3 5th, with a tee shot flying above deep rough and another small lake, right in front of the green. I also like the short right dogleg par-4 9th hole, quite tricky with a wide bunker, hidden right behind trees in the corner, and its green hard to read with a little undulation near the cup. The back 9 starts with two short downhill holes, the par-4 10th, with an elongated lake to the left of the green (framed by two bunkers), and the par-5 11th, with an elongated lake, midway (on the left of the undulated and slanted fairway) and a tough approach to the green, with a big pond across in front along with a couple of bunkers to watch for (on the right). The left dogleg par-4 13th hole, with its tree-lined fairway and an elongated bunker in the corner (on the left), and the left dogleg par-4 16th, with an undulated fairway, narrower in the middle, and a green surrounded by bunkers, are also worth mentioning, along with the risky par-3 17th, with a big bunker on the right of the small sloped and elevated green. Despite its unusual name, this... Snaggy Knob course is very enjoyable : not only it is quite appealing visually, it is also tougher than it looks and you will have to be quite accurate with your shots to avoid the tall grass before scratching your head, at times, on the greens, thanks to Hunting Leopard's imagination !

Good design and no problems with the greens (you need to have a lucky landing sometimes), so 8 birdies, 2 eagles and 8 pars. But I have to stay humble, because I played at, the relaxing, novice level. Nice work Mr.Leopard!

Good design.enjoyed playing it.The greens were near unplayable, but overall a good design.Perhaps there is only me thinking this but come on "Snaggy Knob" your time is better spent designing than coming up with this pathetic name for a course,or are you trying to be TOO controversal,em em!!!!!!!

Great design with just a few apparent flaws IMHO. Pano was aweseome, it really lent a lot to the character of the course. Fairways, which I believe are one of your strong points was spot on. The rough was just alright, could have been better but didnt detract from the overall feel or playability . Your greens work IMHO has made significant strides though there were still a few I didnt find up to your standards. Got to say, all in all I liked it and if this is any indication of the direction your trending, I am eagerly looking forward to your next design. Good job, gave you 4 big ones.
