Top Class course which as well as being stunning to look at is also so much fun to play, the holes seem to blend so well together and for me you can always tell a great course when you are sad when you get to the last hole , this will be one of my go to courses for sure , many thanks Willie for creating this beauty.

Gorgeous breathtaking views of the mountains and the lake in the background are awaiting you as you tee off on the slightly downhill par-4 1st hole. From then on, you will be in for a treat as this par-72 has a lot of beautiful holes. On the front 9, I also like the par-3 2nd hole with its green surrounded by high trees, the dogleg to the right par-5 5th, the scenic, but not overly difficult, par-5 7th hole with the lake on the right side and the par-4 9th hole, a dogleg with water to the left and an elevated green. But none of these holes can prepare you for the awesome signature par-4 10th hole : it is simply stunning visually, one of the best you will ever see ! I also like the par-5 13th hole with its nice view of the lake, villas, and the mountains as you reach the green, the par-4 14th which has not one, not two but three ponds near the green and the par-5 17th, nice to look at. willie did a great job with this par-72 which could rank as a masterpiece with a few minor adjustments : as mentioned by axe360, a few trees were standing on cart paths and the edge of the pond on the par-3 8th hole needs to be smoothened out just like a couple of other ponds. Nevertheless, it is a very enjoyable course and a pure delight to watch...

THis course still requires Major Smoothing, has many trees on the cart paths, has small trees (about 1ft high) in some fairways and in some bunkers.. I see ponds that the water level is above the ground. These comments are meant to help the designer, not to put him down.. I believe doing these things would improve the course tremendously...

Great design, wonderful course only issue is with about 4 greens on expert- very dry could not hold them and putts or chips on these holes if they did not go in would roll back off the greens.Would suggest maybe asking some of the top designers on here to test for you to explain what is playable and what is not.

Walking about this Colorado golf course I not only find the beauty of it breathless as well as it being approx. 5000 feet above sea level, it has this old man huffin and puffin. TY willie for another fun design and please send the beer lady.

very nicely done! need ice skates or skis for the greens (talk about slick!) but a very challenging course to play on, especially if you use the typical conditions in Loveland of very dry and windy..

If at first you dont succeed, then maybe skydiving isnt such a good idea..... |
