What an incredible course ! After reading the general information from big9324, I can't imagine this course being better than this (but, then again, I did not see the "original" from 2005).
One thing, though, that is puzzling to me is why the designer chose a different pano : was the original not good enough ? Anyway, this one is really amazing with all those high rocks and cliffs...
Concerning the course itself, the attention to details is obvious : from the great elevation work, especially on the front 9, to the beautiful bridges, the nice vegetation, the old boat, the statue of Buddha, the... elephants and the alligators (thank God, they were calm !).
The texture of the fairways is very nice and a lot of holes are beautiful, starting from the dogleg par-5 1st and the par-4 2nd with its nice bridge. On the par-4 3rd and 8th holes, elephants are... staring at you but the best hole, visually, is the par-3 6th with the gorgeous statue of Buddha next to the green.
As for the alligators, you get a quick glimpse of both of them on your approach shot to the green (they are in the pond on the right side... next to the old boat)!
The back 9 is much flater but plays very well too : I like the par-4 10th with all those wide bunkers and the par-4 18th with all the water around.
Needless to say, this is a must download, thanks to big9234 who came up with a great tribute to his designer friend justastiffy...

Thanks for a beautiful looking course and I found the course challenging and thoroughly enjoyed my round.

Elephants I believe do exist in the hills, so good touch.

I was too absorbed in the course to observe the alligator, so I will keep a look out next round.

Very ggod and fun course to play. Nice work on the elavations and tiers.

Lagged on scorecard but that is impossible for a designer to fix sometimes.

Some very difficult if not unplayable pins on very dry.

Glad you guys like the course. The Elephants are a product of having my 8yr old daughter sitting next to me while I worked on it. The alligators in the water off the 9th green are all my idea....
