Last of the three Beloit courses (after the Beloit Hills and South Beloit Golf Clubs), this par 72 looks easy, at first, with plenty of wide fairways and quite a few straight holes but, with well-placed water hazards, long par-5 holes and plenty of bunkers surrounding the greens, breaking par won’t be a piece of cake !
You will off to a great start, visually, with the straight and gorgeous par-4 1st hole, with a blind tee shot landing between two lakes along the fairway and with another lake right behind the green (watch out for the steep slope behind the flag !), and the nice but “easy” par-4 2nd, with a wide fairway hugging a lake (on the left) and a green, slightly to the left, surrounded by... six bunkers.
Two dogleg left par-4 holes await you later on, with the 4th, requiring a blind approach to reach its elevated green (with a lake behind) and the 6th, needing a downhill tee shot and another blind approach toward the green, with a few branches partially hiding the slightly-elevated green (on the right), surrounded by, this time, seven bunkers !
Then, after the long par-5 9th hole, with a very wide fairway and a green, slightly to the right (with a small lake further behind, on the right), you will face, after the 10th hole, the very short (about 110 yards) par-3 11th, slightly uphill, before hitting a tough tee shot over trees on the dogleg left par-4 12th, followed by a blind second shot toward a steeply-elevated green.
Two other par-5 holes follow, with the 13th being uphill all the way, with a lake midway (on the left) and ending past the green, and the 14th, slightly downhill all the way, before moving on to the very scenic par-3 15th hole, with a tee shot over a lake landing onto a peninsula raised green, set near its edge (on the left).
Another tough hole is in store for you with the dogleg par-4 16th, bending sharply around a lake (on the right) where, after a blind and uphill tee shot landing onto a wide fairway, you will have to hit another shot downward to the green, before "enjoying" the straight and very long par-5 17th, slightly uphill all the way and with a lake, midway (on the left).
With its wide fairways in a diamond pattern, this Beloit Woods-Stingers course looks pretty and is quite challenging, especially as you try to approach the greens. And, even though seeing different trees (with various sizes) would have been nice, along with cart paths (nowhere to be found, unlike on his previous two Beloit courses where they were really... bright !), this baddog 3095's design is the best of his series and fun to play !

This info was provided by axe360 and it works:

When you have blocky trees in the background: Start TW08....on startpage go to: Options.....Graphics
Set graphics to: Manual settings.....and set shader level: Low or medium
( Tw06 trees can give blocky trees in TW08 game, nothing wrong with the course design, it is just a TW06 library problem )
