Great design, the course looks beautiful (that water!) and it plays a treat. I wasn't a big fan of the layout itself - a bit too Doral-ish for my liking - but not detracting from the actual design. I thought the last holes of each nine were the most memorable. Again, an excellent design - it looked great and there was no doubt I was in Florida. Cheers!

The Broken Sound of a golfer hitting his club would probably not be the only sound heard nowadays on this course, originally designed by Joe Lee, judging from all the residents living nearby in the nice villas bordering the fairways and the lakes in Boca Raton.
This par-72 plays very well and is visually nice with all the plantings, beautiful lakes and... villas.
There are three gorgeous holes on this course : the par-5 9th where your ball will have to fly over the water three times, the par-4 16th, slightly curved to the left and with the green on the other side of the lake, and the par-4 18th, a dogleg to the left with a peninsula green.
Besides these 3 holes, I also like the par-4 1st, a dogleg to the left, the par-5 2nd with its palm trees lining up the fairway and the par-3 7th with its nice overview. On the back 9, the par-5 10th, with the flag partially hidden by trees, the par-3 12th, a classic tee shot over the lake and the par-3 13th, a sharp dogleg to the left with the lake close to the green are worth mentioning.
Once again, MSR Golf came up with another great course, but not as... peaceful as Putt seems to suggest in his comments below or as Joe Lee might have wanted it to be !

A peaceful course. The 18th hole is very scenic. The background had too many bungalows at times.,too cramped and a bit overpowering. Kept my interest till the end of the course. Really appreciate the time spent on making these courses. Well done.
