Just came across this one again but now on a brand new gaming laptop and the course has really come to life,I saw every fountain and very clearly with all the detail, and on advance anyway the course was so much fun as well as an excellent challenge many thanks again for this beauty very well done.

Stylar my friend, as you know we played this together, and you unfortunately defeated me lol. my comments during the game were that this was a great build of a course with probably too many fountains. your course designs are getting very good and we all encoursge you to keep up the good work.

I was attracted to this course as Par 5s are my fave - it was also my first Stylar course & certainly won't be my last. Loved the layout, with strategically placed bunkers & water just daring you to try & hit over them. I read all the comments about problems before I played & am pleased to report I wasn't affected - all fountains around the course were happening! Actually, I'm taking them with me for the next Stylar course - with a name like Dante's Inferno, it sounds as though they might just come in handy...

As far as fountains and water effects go, as you said in 08 they are hit and miss. Sometimes they will show and sometimes not.
I did not make it to 18 to see the fountains as many pins were unplayable on Very dry and we gave up.
Course also crashed to desktop for a couple people which ruined our alt shot and we had to reset numerous times.

A good looking, rather hard to play course (tee off: bunkers all around your landing place)
Specially hole 17 was extreme: the scorecard told me it was 2618 (yards or meters?) long.
But my compliments for the designer.

This course crashed to desktop on holes 6 and 18 did not have any trouble with the fountains until 18th none of them were working had the course system on medium overall a very well made course lovely looking and great choice of textures I did not enjoy the layout and design too much going on with hazards and traps I never like too much in the middle of the fairways, in the end I lost interest and just threw clubs at every shot hoping I would not hi any problems and felt it was mere luck with a narrow measure of error on the fairways being so small you do not need loads of bunkers strewn around. BUT its a nice course to look at not keen on the big water trap banking did not look right. so not my cup of tea.

I have life course systems on medium, with a 512 card and I saw every fountain spray. nice work. Gives a course a Pop.

Larry i don't think its your card.You said u have 1gb Ati.It's more than enough for all rendering.Sometimes the life course system is random.What i do if a fountain is not showing is change the life course system from high to medium and then all fountains work.The best i found is to set life course system to medium to render the fountains,on high it tends to miss some fountains.IMO i think i put to many in on the 18th hole :-(

In all fairness I must say that the reason I don't see all the fountains on 18 rendering is most likely my card, I was able to play around and get all 7 fountains on 18 to work but not consistently..
This still has no effect on my comments that this is one cool build..

stylar, that is one helluva well built course.. Awesome work. Could be real too..
Only had 1 fountain out of seven working on the 18th..All others worked gr8 and I know that couldn't have been easy.
This is one dam nice job!! Recommend it to all..:)
