Well, after playing so many courses from around the world, it's nice to be back "home", so to speak !
This par-71 is awesome : wide open and beautiful landscape, great looking trees, fairways and bunkers and superb elevation work.
There are so many nice holes that it is hard to pick some that stand out : right off the bat, the par-4 1st will give you an idea of what you will be facing. The par-3 2nd hole is a golfer's nightmare with its blind tee shot and downhill green. The par-4 5th hole with its dogleg to the left and small green is nice too, while the downhill par-5 7th is simply spectacular with its green very close to the water.
Similarly, the par-5 9th, with its narrow fairway, offers a nice view of the clubhouse.
As if the front 9 was not scenic enough, the back 9 offers a stretch of great looking holes :
the par-3 11th, with a big pond on the left of the downhill green hidden by trees, the gorgeous "uphill all the way" dogleg to the right par-4 12th, the downhill dogleg to the left par-4 and the par-5 14th with its narrow fairway.
With the last 4 holes pretty nice too, this course is definitely in the masterpiece category... and I am not the only one thinking that way, judging from the previous comments !

Outstanding rendition of one of the best tracks on the Euro tour.
Hole 5 is my favourite but in saying that all holes are brilliant in detail etc.
The place had a real feel to it.
Enjoyed the walk.

Beautiful job! Loved all the elevation work especially the tee boxes.. Sounds funny I know, but nice work on them..
Hole 5 was scary, lol.. Awesome work Rick..

Wow nice course as mentioned a challenge without being over the top got to get your drives right and I thought that was going to be the hardest part, my long game was okay and then I messed it up on the short game! very very good course from a top designer I give it a 5.

Hey BG---well done. As usual you never disappoint. This course is a challenge without being outrageous. The greens are a little nasty without being unplayable---as usual a nice balance of difficaulty with playability. I set it for a tounry on its first day out and all participants made positive comments. Keep em coming----MDM3673

Very good course. Because of the encroachment of the trees and bushes many of the holes are not as straightforward as they may appear to be from the tee. Enjoyable course. Thanks.
