Even I recognized the scenery, the cliffs, the homes and ruins, the plantings, that I usually don't focus on. Beautiful. A favorite of mine, you know, it seemed to me when I was playing that the course was inside a - hopefully - dormant volcano. Thanks risly, another masterpiece. To quote one of the other folks commenting here...

rlslay, do you know that it is forbidden to design gorgeous courses, such as this one (LOL) ? When a fantasy course looks so real, when a hilly and mountainous panorama looks so breathtaking with all these houses perched everywhere and when plantings are superb, you end up spending more time watching the scenery than playing the course itself ! And you will pay for it ! If this par 72 course does not look too difficult, at first, you will soon find out that strategically-placed wide bunkers will force you to reconsider your shots on a lot of holes and settle for pars or birdies, at best, on the (very) long par 5 holes. Needless to say, this European links style course is a pure masterpiece, even if it is on flat land, unlike a lot of British links courses, and has quite a few lakes. But, if you want to have an unforgettable experience, playing a fantasy course for the first time, as I did, this is the "place" to be, thanks to the vivid imagination of rlslay !

The pano for this European Links adds a Mediterranean flavour - how would the Rock Of Gibraltar look at one end of the water? Thats probably a bit over the top could also be difficult to GET over the top! Ditto the earlier bunker comments dont think Ive seen Rob put THAT many bunkers on a course before. Another 5* masterpiece...

Nice course. Expected smaller bunkers but these were well built albeit larger than what I expected. Played well on vdry and breezy. Some very fun and challenging shots there.

All your courses stand out for being very scenic and this one is no exception. The screenshots look like they could have come from a golf resort brochure. They play great too, very natural and realistic. Another 5-star course from one of my favorite designers.

Excellent layout with nice views. Forgot to pack the bucket & spade and paid dearly for that error. Very enjoyable, a nice place to be. Enjoyed the walk.

At last: a completely different pano, reminding me of the French Alpes Maritimes (Riviera). Together with the lay out of the course, nice planting and all others: in my (humble) opinion this is no less than a masterpiece. I think I downloaded and played all Rislay-courses by now (my advice to all other TW08 players: you should do the same), and my conclusion: this man is a master-designer. Thank you Mr.Rislay, I'm your fan!

Holy cow! This is one of the most incredible panos I have ever seen! Of course Islay's attention to detail almost leaves one with the impression they are playing in a finely manicured English garden in the presence of the ancients. The fairway bunkers are strategically placed and the next time I play this the 3 metal will come out more. It is almost hard to concentrate on your golf with the lushness of the holes and backdrop. My hearty congratulations to Islay.
