What a gorgeous course from MSR Golf !
Not only this is the first time that I played in South Korea, but it is also the first time where I could play at night, thanks to these high projectors set all over the course.
With beautiful fairways, high rocky mounds on many holes and quite a few strategically-placed deep bunkers, this par-72 is a masterpiece with the front 9, maybe more spectacular than the back 9.
You first get to see those rocky mounds around the green of the par-4 2d hole. While the par-4 4th hole has plenty of bunkers to contend with, including one right in the middle of the fairway, my favorite holes, on the front 9, are the dogleg to the left par-5 5th, with a stream running across the fairway and the par-4 6th, a dogleg to the right with a high mound near the tee hiding the water right behind. The long par-5 7th, with water near the green, and the par-4 9th, with its nice approach shot to the green are nice too.
On the back 9, you will need to hit a blind tee shot over a high rocky mound to reach the wide green of the par-3 12th hole. The dogleg to the right par-5 13th is pretty too with two mounds of the right side and water across the fairway. As for the par-5 18th, the view of the clubhouse, grandstands and water near the green is gorgeous.
Simply put, this course is superb and, despite a few black blocks far away (buildings ?, MSR Golf deserves all the credit he has been receiving for designing such a gem !

Another winner and I think MSR has become the Asian King. A terrific course - the front 9 especially, holes 3 thru 8 are superb - it beautifully balances challenge and comfort. And as for the work, well, hole 12.. that is all. Enjoyed it all the way, just great stuff, cheers!

Strange name, sounding like a satellite dish placement for an English TV network, but that's quickly forgotten once you tee off. Unusual layout, with everything looking busy in a seemingly compacted area - but in a good way! The mixture of varied planting & nearby spectators makes for a vivid, colourful setting - couple that with an excellently rendered course & you have a winner...
