After playing the Rosensee course, nicely designed by Micko, I extended my stay in the Swiss Alps and discovered another pretty one, with this par 71, well designed and quite challenging too, with plenty of elevation changes, beautiful tree-lined fairways, a few water hazards (on the front 9) and its sloping and/or undulating greens, tough to reach, sometimes, with plenty of bunkers around. On the front 9, more scenic, my favorite holes are the short (about 440 yards) and sharp left dogleg par-5 2nd, uphill all the way with plenty of bunkers on both sides as you reach the green, the gorgeous and steep downhill right dogleg par-4 5th hole, with an elongated lake on the left, midway, and the short (about 320 yards) right dogleg par-4 7th, looking just like the 5th hole but with a narrow fairway between the lake on the left and all those bunkers on the right, lined up behind the trees, and a... narrower green ! I also like the nice downhill par-5 9th hole, with a fairway bending to the right, then twisting sharply to the left, next to the green. The back 9 is less spectacular and not as tough, but it has a couple of nice holes too, such as the left dogleg par-4 10th, with its downhill tee shot with bunkers on both sides of the fairway in the corner, and plenty more around the steeply-elevated green, and the par-5 14th, with a downhill tee shot, an undulating fairway, and a very long second shot to reach the green. Water comes into play on the next two holes, with the par-4 15th where, after a wide-open downhill tee shot, you will have to avoid a small pond on the right of the green (slightly to the left), and the par-3 16th hole, where you will need to hit your tee shot over a wide lake while making sure to land on the left side of the green to avoid seeing your ball roll down in the water on the right ! With two "easier" holes to finish (the left dogleg par-4 17th, with a downhill tee shot and an elevated green, and the right dogleg par-4 18th, uphill all the way to the green), you should enjoy your round at the Klub Interlaken, thanks to the nice work done by Hunting Leopard !

I wanted to like this course but some of the greens were way to hard to get the ball to stop running off the green on very dry greens. That said I thought you did A great job on the layout.

Excellent. Very tough course. The only ones I play more than once. It's a keeper. Not many like this around. Keep up the great work.

Good course. Plenty of inspirational holes. Would have liked a bit of birdsong. Particularly liked holes 5 and 11. Very enjoyable. Well done.

Nice course. I like how you get the depth look when you are at the tee on a few holes. Course was fun to play.

Your best course yet, liked it mostly the front 9 could not get on on the back 9 some greens were a bit too bumpy more smoothing would have been good, overall I liked it

A truly beautiful course. I enjoyed playing it a lot. I would suggest that the 16th hole as it set up for my first round is overly severe. I hit two shots toward the left side of the green and both sucked back and off the green to the right pond. The combination of the amount of the backspin with the drop off false front of the green seemed to me to be excessive. Overall though a great course! Don't miss it.
