With small wooded hills as a panorama, this par 72 looks quite nice but don't be fooled by the scenery as it will give you fits with plenty of deep rough, bushes and a few water hazards. It starts with a left dogleg par-4 1st hole, with a small creek in front of the green and a big wasteland filled with high rough behind it, and is followed by the straight par-3 2nd, where you will have to be careful about the meandering creek flowing from the left side of the fairway all the way to near the green. The dogleg par-4 3rd hole, one of my favorites, is quite spectacular with its wide wasteland with more high rough on the left side of the fairway, its lone... dead tree on the left side (in front of the green) and a big slope filled with bushes leading to the river on the right side. Then, after teeing off over plenty of high rough on the straight par-3 4th hole, you will reach the scenic right dogleg par-5 5th hole with a creek running at the bottom of a big mound, full of high rough on the right side all the way to the green, before heading for the par-3 6th, quite tough, with high rough in the middle and a big creek running from the right side across to the left in front of the small green. If the left dogleg par-5 7th hole, slightly downhill, has more deep rough and bushes on the left near the tee box, and again near the green (guarded by a big bunker), the par-3 8th hole is superb, with plenty of bushes on a big slope below the undulated green, on the left next to the river, and high rough on the right. As for the par-4 9th hole, with a big mound with high rough on the left side and a slightly elevated green with a small creek in front, it will keep you on your toes too... Coming back, the dogleg par-5 10th hole, slightly to the left is quite nice, with trees on the left side, and high rough on the right next to a meandering creek flowing from the right and crossing in front of the green. Other noteworthy holes are the par-4 14th and 15th : the first one, slightly to the right, has trees on the left side of the fairway (and a small bunker in the middle) and plenty of bushes on a slope next to the river on the right (and behind the green !), whereas the latter, sharper to the right, has plenty of bushes on the slope next to the river further to the right. The left dogleg par-5 16th hole is pretty too as it follows the river bending to the left, with trees on the left side of the fairway and high rough near the green (with a little creek running in front of it), just like the short left dogleg par-5 18th hole, with more deep rough across and on the left side of the fairway all the way in front of the green ! With its superb and omnipresent vegetation, avoiding deep rough and bushes will be your challenge on this course, well designed by Hunting Leopard who, once again, came up with an original course and a definite keeper !

Awesome course, probably my fave Hunting Leopard design (surprised to find out it was his first). Every hole feels unique and the variety is vast - so much so that on a couple of occasions as I went to the next tee I thought I'd strayed to a different course! Lovely to the eye, plays a treat, well-balanced difficulty.. it's a joy to get around. The best hole for me (amongst a few contenders) was the par 3 8th - as good a fantasy one-shotter I've seen, really brilliant. The only blemish on the whole course was the pin placement (diff setting) on the 12th green - a bit nasty, that. All up though, a really superb creation, loved it. Cheers!

Thanks for the comments everyone. This course had some rough edges and didn't quite match my vision, but it turned out very fun to play and will always have a place in my heart since it was the first course. Thanks for downloading.

I enjoyed playing this course and I didn't see any problems or the way it played around the Oxbow River but I don't create course. Well done Hunting Leopard.

Excellent course. Better have your A game working though. A lot of risk reward holes. Fun to play and looks great. Well done!
