What an incredible change ! Three years after Locust HIll Country Club came out, designed by... MK Design, TeeOffGolf and his brother MSR Golf released their 2012 version and it looks like an earthquake struck this course... Gone are the small-mountain panorama and a lot of trees along the fairways ! Instead, grandstands and tents are now part of the scenery along with a few other surprises, such as tennis courts on the left side of the 18th green and a different clubhouse. After comparing the two versions, I got curious and logged in on the course's official site only to find out that this version, while less scenic, seems to be closer to the real course. And that is, in a way, "unfortunate" because, despite the very nice designing work done by the two brothers, this par 72 course has too many straightforward holes (even though some are slightly uphill and/or downhill), making this course not really too challenging...
