A very enjoyable links course, with a pretty coastline to gaze at, plenty of undulating fairways (some with elevation changes), lots of strategically-placed pot bunkers and wide areas filled with deep rough, and quite a few sloped greens, whose lines are sometimes hard to read... This par 71 starts with two nice right dogleg holes, with the par-4 1st, slightly-uphill with a tee shot landing near pot bunkers and a downhill (and blind) approach to the green (with a pretty panoramic view of the ocean and the cliffs, further away, as a bonus), and the similar, but longer, par-5 2nd, where you will have to be careful with your approach to avoid the pot bunkers on both sides of the green, in front. You will then walk over to the very scenic par-3 3rd hole, where you will need to hit your downhill tee shot to the left of the flag (as the sloped green is very close to the cliffs on the right), if you don't want to see your ball roff off or, worse, fall into the ocean ! The following par-4 4th hole is quite challenging too, with pot bunkers in the middle of the narrow fairway, hugging the coastline, making your tee shot crucial if you want to have a chance to reach the green on your second shot. Another standout hole is the beautiful right dogleg par-4 6th, with a tee shot landing near the cliffs and a second shot over the channel (and over a small bridge with nice waves below) to reach its peninsula green. You will then go back the other way on the left dogleg par-5 7th hole, with a tee shot over the ocean landing near pot bunkers, midway, and a long and blind approach to the green (again near the end of the peninsula), before heading for the right dogleg par-4 8th, quite scenic too with its houses set on top of the cliffs (on both sides), and plenty of deep rough and pot bunkers to deal with. The back 9 is not to be overlooked either, with the pretty and challenging left dogleg par-4 11th, with a tee shot landing onto a sloped fairway (next to the channel on the left) and a long shot over the cliffs to reach the green, and the right dogleg par-5 12th hole, with its narrow fairway, set between the channel (on the left), and plenty of deep rough (on the right) and a long approach toward the green... I also like the par-4 14th hole, downhill all the way, with its winding fairway, with plenty of deep rough around, and its nice green (with the ocean behind), and the last two holes, the gorgeous left dogleg par-4 17th, along the coastline, with its crashing waves and sloped fairway, and the par-4 18th, similar but straighter, with its fairway hugging the coastline on the left, and a beautiful mansion to gaze at behind the green (on the right), not far from the cliffside. With its breathtaking panoramic views, nice plantings and houses, not to mention its challenging holes, you should not take too much time to mull over : this... Mulcaster Crossing is definitely worth playing (and keeping, if you like links-style courses !), thanks to Hunting Leopard !

Very special admosphere (Ireland, Scotland?) on this course. I certainly like the surroundings, nice red roofed houses (not the very, very large millionairs villa's you see on most of the other courses), the color of the sea: almost everything is different on this course, included a few almost unplayable greens (hole 3, I agree gentlemen). So I encountered two triple bogeys, but, nevertheless I like this course. Thank you Hunting Leopard, you certainly create interesting courses.

Thanks for the feedback. Holes 3 and 6 due push the limit on putting and I know that can be frustrating. The course evolved over time those greens never came out exactly as I wanted. I'm trying to avoid version 2 on courses unless a bunch of people clamor for it or something (I only did on Leaping Marlin since the first version was crashing for some). Regardless, the feedback is appreciated and I'll try to avoid those kinds of greens in the future.

Some greatb ideas here, spoiled by the par3 on front nine near cliff. The greens all run to the cliff,so making impossible to get down in 3 at least on dry. Overall the course has some brilliant ideas and game play was great. Fix up par 3 and this would be good to play all the time.

Nice landscape and feel to this one but could not get on with the greens hole 3 was the one that was impossible ball ends up on the top teir of the green...now try to get it close to the hole...no it rolls way past and over the side of the cliff everytime..and that was on "dry" all in all good but maybe greens a bit unfair when it takes a lot to get it on the green! look forward to the next course though Iiked your last course better

Excellent layout with some great holes, gorse & bunkers. The green on hole six is a nightmare to putt on, set at difficult. Look forward to your next design. Enjoyed the walk.
