A fun and very creative design, and the use of hole names/descriptions is brilliant - really adds to the entertainment. Great variety in the layout with some very tricky holes mixed in with some more forgiving ones - it's tough but well-balanced and not quite as dastardly as it sounds - I actually found a few birdies in my round. A hugely enjoyable and unique course, bravo JJ, cheers!

Hurry to download this stunning course before you finish reading my comments (LOL)! This par 72, set along the cliffs in Hawaii, is simply awesome from the 1st tee to the 18th green. jjhold's version, based on the real course, is something else : with breathtaking views, scary cliffside holes, beautiful vegetation, not to mention million-dollar houses, this course is a masterpiece, fantasy or not ! Every hole is spectacular in its own way and, yet, some stand out even more than others. After the par-4 1st, the left dogleg par-4 2nd hole, set on a hilltop, requires a blind second shot. The three-hole stretch (par-5 4th, par-4 5th and par-5 6th holes) are all doglegs to the right with downhill greens and gorgeous villas everywhere. The par-3 7th hole is quite nice and scary as your tee shot will, hopefully, fly above the cliff, but the most painful hole is the par-3 8th... as you will find out when reading the hole sign ! As for the long par-5 9th, it is gorgeous with its fairway very close to the cliffs... Coming back, you will need to hit two blind shots on the inland left dogleg par-4 10th hole to reach the elevated green. The par-5 11th hole, a dogleg to the left is pretty too with its downhill green next to the (dark) sea (which looks a little bit angular near some edges). Then, you will the signature par-3 12th hole, with its downhill green very close to the cliff. And what about the par-4 13th ? It is simply awesome and could easily be the other signature hole on this course with its gorgeous downhill green and pin very close to the cliff, and its lone house with a little garden around it: simply superb ! The final holes are inland and provide a nice relief, starting with the par-3 14th, and its elevated green and (very) big swimming pool beyond. The par-5 15th, again inland, offers quite a change of scenery as it is an uphill right dogleg, with plenty of trees on both sides of the fairway. The par-4 16th hole will bring you back near the cliffs as you reach the green, so that you won't be surprised when you see the scary right dogleg par-4 17th... over the cliffs ! As for the right dogleg par-4 18th hole, it will offer one last chance at a birdie while contemplating the cliffs on the right side of the fairway and the nice villas on the left side. jjhold's superb design (love those hole signs, some of them very funny !) could even be more impressive with a few minor adjustments : the hole signs are great but a little bit too far, making it hard, sometimes, to read the "advice" below, and the sign of the 18th green : '... your ahead" needs a little correction ("you're" or "you are"). But, maybe, I am being very... extreme with this version (LOL) ! In the meantime, thank you, so much, jjhold, for creating such a gem...

Great layout, great challenge, great fun. Thought I'd have a little extra fun with the dogleg challenge on The Wet Paw 17th. I swung around & took aim at the centre of the daring sign & expected to cop the rebound right between the eyes, but the ball appeared to go through the sign, cleared the chasm & landed in the fairway. As Mr Feherty would say, a little luck never hurts - didn't get the nice eagle, though...

Outstanding design and fun. The contrast between this and Pasatiempo highlights the talent of this designer. The signs are great and gave you a warning of what was ahead. Enjoyed the walk.
