Played four rounds here - substituted in place of Sedgefield. Still find this a good challenge for me - shot 67,69,70 and 69. Very nice course to play and looks good as well. Will play this one again as it has some bite - never sure how I will score from hole to hole. Designer has done an excellent job in keeping it a good challenge. A very nice course to play some golf. Thanks for sharing! Excellent!

Wow - this course can play tough. I liked the course architects comments on how it plays in real life. Felt that way when I played it. Nothing unfair about this course - just need to be on your "A" game. Stray from fairway and you will no doubt pay. I did and I did. Excellent fairways and good test on greens. Shot 70 and that was in lazy conditions. Thank you for the excellent course. It`s a keeper.

Very fun course. I go to school about a mile from the Olympic Club and you captured the enviroment very well. Although there was one time I thought I was in the jungle :)

Excellent course Bobby. I shot minus 1 in my round. Set at breezy, dry and difficult hole placements. Very satisfying. I was impressed by your design, especially hole 18. Green undulations had me scrambling to make par on a lot of the holes.

Excellent design but in my opinion lacked the feel of the open. The track lacked the roughness that was set for Olympic during the open. The bunkers were too clean, the rough not rough enough {if that makes sense) but overall a excellent effort. Enjoyed the walk.

Green speed didn't worry me too much - I was just happy to reach them! Didn't hit quite a few fairways off the tee on the longer holes in my first round here - might set up a 72-hole tournament with virtual pros & try to improve as I go. Yes, the itch is there & I'm looking forward to trying more of your courses after this 5* effort - thank you...

I agree that the greens seem slower than some vdry greens, but I thought they were the right speed IMO. Great work Bobby. Well done.

Well i think the green speed should favor the 4 rounds set for WCGR US Open this week. With the condions set calm, gusty.breezy, strong will test the patiencefor some should be a great week. Thanks for the update Bobby.

I agree with Putt, the view from some Tees looks down-hill, but the overhead map says the opposite. I give truth full opinions , I wish i could make a course like that or any, but I hate it. Must be some walk in real life if its that high up.

Thanks for the course Bobby Bolin. Fun to play. I also like that it is up just in time to play and see what the guys at the US Open are in for.

Great job, loved playing this one, but if this is anything like the real thing, may God have mercy on those teeing off in the open. It kicked my rear.

Pano makes a big contribution to a very good course.,but I sometimes find that with a "strong" pano it is difficult to decide if the fairway is going upwards or falling and even if you consult the course information you still feel a bit of doubt. Would have liked to have had a tad more animals ,birds, birdsong, etc, to animate the course, that said it is a very enjoyable course and I would give it five stars.

I'll have to agree that the V. Dry greens seem to play closer to dry (on Expert at least). Thought it was just me and the singe malt, but others notice it as well. Other than that, I liked the layout a lot, well done. Just needs to be a tad quicker IMHO

No need to apologize at all. That's the type of feedback I am looking for anyway. Look for them to be a bit quicker on the next course.

Ok Bobby i apologize but the four of us play very dry every week on our tour and all of us have been playing this game for years and big downhill putts seemed slow to all of us and most of our uphill putts were always short of the pin.I just seem to remember on previous versions of the greens being lightning quick but i will take your word for it and thank you for your efforts i appreciate it.

Hi Mike. I did not change the greens at all from the previous version. Maybe you just got lucky with the pin positions ;) Appreciate the feedback from everyone.

Always loved this course the layout and elevation changes are great. But i'm not sure if you slowed the greens up in very dry in this revised version but four of us played it today and all agreed that they play dry-normal like in very dry setting. If the greens were a true very dry i would give it a 5 rating but to me its a 3-4 but overall a nice course.
