As with Mahony's this is a superb design - realistic and gorgeous visuals, and smooth and true to play. Whilst not quite as scenic as the other Killarney track, this one is a tougher nut, with a particularly challenging run of par 4's through the mid-section. (I was quite relieved to reach the open and inviting par 5 16th - scoring had become a tad dry by that point) And as another poster commented, it's wise to bag the driver on several holes. With some great par 3's along the way (the 6th especially) and a brilliant final hole, this is a terrific course with a varied and challenging layout. And the design is faultless - Mr Durum at his finest. Cheers!

Thanks very much for all the positive comments everyone.I did them for CGX and had almost finished them when it was announced the Irish Open would be played at Royal Portrush this year..Doh...facepalm! I tried to use a reflective surface for the lough but it was making load times between holes a bit too long which was a shame. Thanks

I was going to add here about these 2 Killarney courses that is it a first that back to back courses by the same designer have been voted as 5 stars each and then today they have mysteriously been put back a notch

Play's great and looks outstanding, just as if I'm standing on a course in the real world. I love the double release of courses. Thanks Pete
