A well-designed links course, not too difficult (except for a couple of holes) with (mostly) wide fairways, slight elevation changes and inland holes, and where you will see more... sheep than ravens ! After the par-4 opening hole, with its fairway hugging the ocean (on the right) and its elevated green, slightly to the left, you will move more inland with the par-5 2nd, uphill all the way and with a second shot over a small ditch across the fairway, midway. You will then see plenty of sheep on the scenic par-3 3rd hole around the fairway and the green, before heading later on to the left dogleg par-4 5th, again uphill all the way and with a nice view of the ocean behind the green. If the par-5 6th hole is a left dogleg with a winding fairway, with a big and elongated bunker to the front and right of the green, I prefer the par-3 7th hole, filled with more sheep around its narrow and elongated green. Coming back, I like the pretty down-and-up par-3 12th hole, with its nice panoramic view of the ocean and the rolling hills behind the green, and the right dogleg par-5 13th, above the ocean (on the far right) and with a big slope down, midway, on the left. The right dogleg par-4 14th hole has a narrow fairway, set on a hilltop, with the ocean below (to the right) and a narrow elongated and undulating green, and is followed by another right dogleg, the par-4 15th, uphill all the way, and with plenty of sheep, minding their own business... Another right dogleg hole awaits you on the par-4 16th, with an uphill tee shot landing downward onto a narrow and undulating fairway, and a delicate approach to reach the narrow and elongated green, before moving on to my favorite hole, the par-3 17th, with its green (flanked by two big elongated bunkers) set in front of a small rocky plateau and with a lighthouse, a little further to the right, above the ocean... Overall, if ron717 designed a nice course, with a few thin trees planted along the way, you should finish with a low score if you can land good approaches on some of the narrow greens, while avoiding a couple of well-placed bunkers !

Being a fan of links courses, I like this one very much. Ron, you certainly are one of the master designers in the TW08 world. Like jackn said before: tough greens!

One of the best coastal, links course released. Greens are tough (even on easy pin placement) but fair. Well done.

I liked this course. I would find myself playing a hole and then thinking how I might play it different. I will play this course many more times. It maybe a fantasy course but plays as if real. Nice job ron717
