It is nice, once in a while, to play on a... flat course and Doha is the place to be !
Plenty of sand, water, cactus and palm trees will make your round very enjoyable as long as you choose the right club and don't gamble too much on your approach shots near the greens.
Even though there are quite a few nice holes on the front 9 (the par-3 3rd over the water and the enormous par-5 9th - 650 yards !), I like the back 9 better : the par-5 10th with an slightly uphill green with... rocks in front of the green, the par-4 12th, a dogleg next to the highway and the par-3 13th over the water.
But the nicest holes are the par-4 15th with the green separated by the water and the par-4 16th, once again with big rocks near the green.
A definite keeper for me to add to my collection of around-the-world golf courses : thank you J & M Design !

Rated 5/5 awhile back but decided to take some time to post some comments on courses tonight due to some people having a problem with the lack of them.
This is a beautiful course to play. Another classic where if too aggressive you pay the price. Very realistic interpretation. Thank you for the hard work.

Hi Guys, have to say this is a beauty and plays excellent in all conditions. Played this on the CGX tour
and found it very tough course if you went away from regular path to green. Very tough to putt on when very dry which makes it more realistic.GREAT JOB .

Very nice course. Lots of quality touches. On the sixteenth hit the large rock at the side of the green and got a birdie. Thanks for doing these perceptible different courses from around the world and I'm giving this one five stars.
