Thank you TW08 ! After being unable to play this course with TW07, at first (see my comments below), I found the solution to Tiger Woods teeing off on his... knees ! Don't ask me why, but you need to set the animated... trees "off" and it will work ! Nevertheless, I decided to play it again with TW08 and I did not regret my choice. This course is very enjoyable with a pretty (and green) English countryside, beautiful panoramic views all over, undulating fairways, small elevation changes, and with some well-placed water hazards and bunkers that will make you think twice before hitting your shots. My favorite holes on the front 9 are the downhill par-3 3rd, quite tough, with a big pond and a small bunker on the edge (right in front of the green on the left), the right dogleg par-5 5th hole, with an undulating fairway, and a very big pond across in front of the downhill green (with a bunker next to it), and the par-3 7th, slightly downhill with plenty of trees on the right side of the tee box and another very big pond across, right in front of the green ! The right dogleg par-5 8th hole is not easy either, with an uphill tee shot landing onto a rollercoaster fairway followed by a long, downhill and blind second shot to the green, partially hidden by a big tree in front, not too far, and on the right. The back 9 starts with the nice right dogleg par-4 10th hole, with an elongated lake on the left, a serpentine path all along on the right, a few bunkers halfway, and a blind and uphill approach to the green. The par-5 12th hole is straight, but pretty, with a tee shot downward a narrow fairway, with a few trees on the right side, halfway, and plenty of bunkers in front of the elevated green, and is followed by the tricky par-4 13th, with a straight downhill view of the green but where you will need to hit your tee shot to the right to avoid a small lake across in front of the green. The last two noteworthy holes are the right dogleg par-5 15th, with plenty of bunkers in the corner and a very long second shot downward to the green, with a big elongated bunker on the left, and the left dogleg par-4 18th hole, with a lake on the left midway, and a few trees, further to the right, partially hiding the green. Pretty to look at and fun to play, this London Golf Club, well-designed by PCDurum, will challenge you but if you are patient enough, you should score well on this course, designed by Jack Nicklaus who found the winning... formula in Brands Hatch !

Great course, great design, I really enjoyed this one. Lots of Nicklaus touches all over the layout and there's a nice balance to it - some holes just require solid golf whereas others need that little something special - the difficulty level felt perfect. Fave holes were the par 3 7th and the split-fairway 13th, where either your tee or approach shot will be difficult depending on your choice - now that's golf! Loads of fun and a superb design, cheers!

Unfortunately, PCDurum, I was unable to play this course as Tiger Woods decided to tee off from the first tee on his... knees ! Even though it is only the fourth time that this bug occurs (out of more than 200 courses that I have played), it is frustrating as I still don't have a clue about what to do...

This course is not far from me and I went to the European Open two years ago. This is a very nice rendition. More importantly, it looks and plays beautifully. One of my favourites.
